The bigger story is that George Gomez flat out lied to the pinball community. He said after the Jurassic Park LE release that there would be no more LE's for games that had them. I wasn't a buyer either way but this tells me that in the future to buy a Premium if I want a Stern.

Probably the best designed game to come out in years. Danger grabbing bits and pieces from great Gottlieb games, and taking new chances. Offset or not, its going to play fantastic. Love that the plunger lane, and right outlane share the same path. Thats a great use of space as well. Foo fighters on steroids, with at least 9 ball paths that i can see so far.

2 months ago I got my Godzilla premium used for 7,200 in Denver !!!! Suckers paying too much is what got us here !!! When something is not a necessity, the power is always in the buyers hand as you simply do not have to buy it!!! Let them find a sucker just don't let it be you!!!

it does look amazing, i am pissed the flippers are offset so much, i just cant. its a ruiner for me, game looks fun and awesome otherwise. The gimmick danger room looks like a drain fest. Not worth having the flippers moved so far off center

This came outta nowhere for me. I preordered a premium. I don’t get anyone who isn’t liking this. It’s gotta be outta envy.

Don't give Stern credit for making a Premium as they are still being shady. Am I the only person that noticed this? There are only two things from an LE that a Premium owner can't upgrade for themselves (not including signatures and badges). Those two things are the foil sides and the mirrored backglass. Stern chose to put the LE art on the backglass (without the mirroring) and the premiums have the foil sides. A premium owner can put the non-reflective glass, sound system, put on the same powder coating, install shaker motor by themselves. Effectively this is a poor man's LE... or if you like a Premium+. thing?

I think that this game will prove to be more flash than substance. The good part is that Stern finally did something different. However, the BOM looks to be the same. Once you look closely you can see this. The only thing that makes this game unique is the Danger room and in reality it's just a typical upper playfield that's on the main playfield. After that, you can see all the shortcuts. Very few rubber rings, minimal playfield inserts (notice that some of them don't have clear plastic), no drop targets and very few, if any, standard stand up targets. I'm sure I sound more cynical than I intend as I give Stern credit here, I just don't think it's as great as everyone thinks and I think that Avatar and Alice in Wonderland will prove to be much 'cooler'.

“Play better” isn’t that what the new rules demand? Play better? The old rules didn’t demand that, they only demanded “Play More” Putting aside the horrific amounts of gatekeeping and condescension on display here, if you actually want people in the top 250 to “be the best in pinball” then it sounds to me like you should be celebrating this rule change. Let’s reward good play, not just more frequent play.

Pinball is great but how are pinball halls supposed to make money when the machines are $10k? It felt like the hobby was taking off but what bars are going to invest in that?

I’m glad Scooby was a better pin for Spooky. American can just throw in the towel at this point. I’m super happy for Jack nailing it on his sophomore outing. After having watched him for years, and watching his streams where he started designing, it was a good payoff. I’m still sticking to my opinion that his Home JP is better than the standard one……

It's sad to watch pinball decline in price,but I'm kind of happy because now I might be able to afford one lol. They are too expensive in my opinion. I understand how much work goes into them but I still feel they are overpriced. I hope they don't fade away. I like pinball.👍🤙
