Anyway don't be fooled by some videos where appear gigantic Kangals (i owed 2 purebreed Kangals and 2 purebreed Abruzzese shepherds) or Caucasians or Alabais, they're mixed with St.Bernards, Great Danes or English Mastiffs (sometimes Dogue de Bordeaux and Neapolitans) to increase the size. They're absolutely useless for fighting or whatever purpose since the more they're big the more they're slow, with less stamina, less endurance and so on. People usually don't know that one of the most trustable and badass dog to protect the family against wild animals and generic human aggressors is the mighty Fila Brasileiro. This breed is as strong as it could be even better than the usual breeds, the only problem is the cold, they suffer cold alot. One more thing: We often talk about breeds, but over 50% of the characteristics are inherent in the specific subject, so much so that there can be Labradors (a dog with great physical power among other things) better than a Caucasian Shepherd as guards. As Forrest Gump said, life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what's inside, so, although breeds and bloodlines increase the possibility and predictability of a subject suitable for our needs, the reality is often different.
