Selected Electronic Works II - Rarities/Unreleased - Out September 29th
Out now - Selected Electronic Works II - Rarites and Unreleased.
This is a compilation of very old productions (house, techno, dub), mostly from about 2010-2012, when I first started producing. Most tracks have some interesting theme or story behind them, and were not widely distributed. I'll post the stories behind each track in the comments!
Available now on the usual streaming services. Or if you'd like to give that extra bit of support for my work, please consider buying a copy on Bandcamp!

01. The Floating Admiral (feat. Dürerstuben and Alex Milne) - Vinyl only concept release. Dürerstuben were invited to create a short introduction, which other artists from the label roster would then use as a starting point for their own track. So each track on the album starts the same way, before going in its own direction. I bought Alex Milne on board, who worked with me on Change, to add an electric guitar solo.
02 and 03. Nobody Gets Nothing / Cuz I Can't Take It - Collaborations with Roskow Kretschmann aka Sygaire / Kosma / Jazzanova. Roskow kindly took me on as a kind of intern/apprentice when I moved to Berlin which culminated in collaborating in these two house/disco tracks. Very different from anything else I was doing at the time, I learned so much from working with Roskow and will always be super grateful for taking the time to teach me, as I was so green at the time and barely knew what I was doing!
04. Tweety - Part of a site-specific installation called Out of the Woods, which was a kind of treasure hunt to find various USBs hidden around the forest, each containing a different track from the release. The track features some foley sounds to create that outdoorsy feeling, a technique I use in most of my tracks to this tday to add space and texture.
05. No Focus - Unreleased. I could never find a label to put this one out, which I can understand as it's kind of weird. But they're all wrong, I tell you! Maybe it's because nobody wanted this unloved baby that I grew even more attached to it. It was my first experiments actually working with recorded audio in electronic production, and you can definitely hear that I was listening to a lot of Stimming's early work at the time.
06 and 07. Mr. Smiles and Cerebral Labyrinth - My first label release. These tracks have a pretty strange quality to them, based on the fact I was producing house and techno style without having really listened to much of it myself. It's definitely got a pretty unique flavour and I kind of miss those days when creating was much more a leap into the unknown, with no idea about what would come out of the process. It was supposed to be called Celestial Labyrinth, reflecting on an ...experience... laying on the grass and looking at the stars. I don't know why I changed the name at the last minute, but it kind of bugs me that I did. Anyway, these two tracks, which had only a limited online release before, have been remastered.
08. Dawn - I'd considered this track lost, until one day, to my surprise, I stumbled across it on UA-cam! Turns out someone had taken a first draft mix which I'd posted on SoundCloud back in 2011 and uploaded it to UA-cam. No idea who did that but thank you! I managed to rip it and with some effort restore the quality and remaster, included it in this release.
09. A Dream Away - Another very early, limited release track. The original production was terrible, full of harsh resonance that would render it totally unplayable in any soundsystem. But the ideas were quite fun, and again, a playful creation from when production was new to me. So I took it and did my best to remaster, reducing the more painful frequencies. Like most tracks on this album, it isn't perfect in a technical sense, but I have a fondness for it and wanted to make them as good as they can be to share with the world.

Ludovico Einaudi - RARE, UNRELEASED TRACK from Divenire (III) - Andante con moto
Переглядів 2394 роки тому
A rare and unreleased track by Ludovico Einaudi. It's the third movement from Divenire, which was a suite of 6 pieces before it was an album: I. Svanire II. Divenire III. ??? IV. Primavera V. Svanire (part 2) VI. Divenire (part 2) The third movement has never been released as far as I'm aware - I think this is a world premier as far as a publicly available recording goes (although it was perfor...

This is by Ludovico Einaudi??? What! It actually develops an idea and carries below surface-level emotion! It's crazy when you listen to popular artists before they start catering to commercial success.
Ludovico trained under Berio, so had classical training but with a strong emphasis on folk tradition. His piano work has embraced the folk aspects more, but if you listen to his earlier work like Salgari and Time Out they have a very different flavour. In my view it's the albums Stanze, Le Onde, and Eden Roc which straddle this divide best and draw on folk tradition while still feeling expertly crafted.

Beautiful piece!
A favorite of mine.. you played it sweetly! Mesmerizing! Bless your hands! 🌾
I love these arrangements! I hope your channel will grow immensely. Just keep enjoying what you do, God bless.
Very cool ! Just wondering if those animations were done by hand or is it automated with key pressing ?
The piano is MIDI data which you can feed into a visualiser to create the top half of the screen.
I searched up what inertia means, and I see now why it means that. I really liked this piece, very nicely done :D
