This video is mostly about a 5x5 buck lunching on a linden bush. Deer love lindens. The clips were recorded July 10-12, 2024. Time stamps on videos are wrong.

This video has lots of deer, including some fawns. A pair in a few clips and another older fawn (I think) in later clips. Especially interesting is the sound made by one deer almost hidden in the tall grass. A sort of snorting. Startled the doe in the video. I had never heard that sound before. I am used to deer coughing and stamping their feet if they are nervous. This sound is different. The ...

Me reading by the campfire circle at the Broken Wheel Ranch in the evening of July 9, 2024, about 6 pm to start. The temperature was about 85. There was almost no wind at all. Lots of birds singing and chirping. Very pleasant atmosphere. Pi, the ranch cat, joined me about five minutes into the video. He is the real attraction in the video.

Lots of raccoons and deer. One deer lay down right in front of the camera. Surprisingly, no rabbits.

Interesting clips of deer stretching to graze on lowest tree limb leaves. The deer look well fed. Also, a clip of the fierce ranch guard cat, Pi.

Looks like a rabbit digging a nest hole in the middle of my front lawn. Not a good spot - you can see Pi, my fierce ranch cat walking RIGHT past the hole. And some deer in the video of course. And a grackle!

Starts with the glimpse of a coyote. Then a deer lying down. And a deer bounding past the camera. Later a raccoon.
