Respectable effort, honestly. I know people are giving some harsh criticism and it's unwarranted. One glaring thing that could of been better was building the atmosphere. You had the story and you had the direction that you wanted to go, but there was no built up tension to go along with it. What would of set it off initially was some background music, nothing elaborate just maybe a single cord being held that drops off before the stingers of the news reports jumping in. As your subject becomes more fearful as he continues to search the house, him panting or just heavy breathing in general would help build up the atmosphere as well. With all of those additions the ending would have had a bigger impact rather than, "Oh, that happens." Hopefully you guys are still plugging away making your own shorts.
