I did it with tweezers.

Worked perfectly, thank you. I actually used the bottom handle of a butter knife; as I didn’t have that file.

Was able to use my house key. Thanks!

Brilliant! Thanks so much. Let me add, that my car is a three row Ford Explorer. The tangle was in the middle row. I was unable to get the proper angle from the middle row, so I tried from the back (folded down the seats in 2nd and 3rd row). It gave me a much easier and better angle, and I was able to release it in seconds.
