How "terribly much" I miss Marilyn Horne! ... that being said ... Xavier Sabata is the "closest" voice singing today that "fills me" with the same JOY and HAPPINESS that I felt when I heard Ms. Horne sing. His "crisp" and "staccato" runs are certainly as good as it gets - and he "fills" a niche that I thought was gone. I am grateful that we have extraordinary singers "bringing back" the conta-tenor repertoire!
