Very Pretty. I'm working on the same year, model and color.
Congratulations it’s very beautiful,I have another ones like this model ,here in Santiago ,Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 and someday I would like to restore it . I use to have another 1964 militar ford original jeep, but somebody called “Alberto Zarante “ thift me the jeep here in Santiago Dominican Republic . I think that God will resolv this case!,
Awesome! The Federal Titan on the roof is icing on the cake!
LATCH THAT HOOD BACK DOWN BEFORE YOU HIT THE ROAD!!!
This car needs dual exhaust system.
Beautiful restoration! Love to have one some day! If not, it never hurts to dream!
corvette had 340 TORQUE and impala had 330 TORQUE,but corvette had different cam and aluminum head and produce 300 HP instead of 260 HP
I had a white 79 sport coupe turbo in white. The hood ornament was square and said Buick sport coupe turbo on it. How much did you sell this for?
Dude! We drive a 1946 CJ-2A that I was with my parents when they bought it! I don't remember as I was only 3. It has always been a workhorse and today we used it to pull some stumps and it has lots and lots of nicks, scrapes, scratches and blems and we don't try to hide them! It is completely stock, being 6 Volts and has the original engine which I have overhauled a few times in the past 76 years. We noticed your engine compartment did not have a visible horn and that the radiator hose across the top did NOT include the metal tube part! Rubber was scarce and they used not more than they had to. Thanks for sharing and the very best of luck!
The shifter is wrong; it appears the transmission is from an MB or similar. But I do like the fact that they put the ignition switch where it would have been when it came from the factory. This is a twelve-volt conversion (you can see the alternator at 4:43); is someone making aftermarket 12v coils that have the built-in ignition switch?
Beautiful truck
Chevy Caprice dresses and Impala what motor does this car have
For sale?
This is a very nicely restored Jeep however from my understanding the grill and headlights are not correct for a CJ to a since they protrude into the grill are you sure this isn't a cj3a
Wow!!! I would like to buy this perfect BMW!!!
I still have my BF tires for my 94
It makes me sick that someone would do something like this to such a classic vehicle. Only so many left and to dump a bunch of shiny paint on it and add the wrong parts, makes me sick. God have mercy on us all.
Dude! When I was three my parents took me with them and they bought a 1946 CJ-2A which I still have and it is a daily driver in the summer. I've left it completely stock with 6 Volts and everything original though I'm rebuilt the engine a couple of times in these past 76 years. I've come across a lot of Jeeps that had been legends, but folks put huge V-8's in them and while they do beautiful work, they have destroyed a legend. Great to come across someone as yourself who appreciates the Jeeps for what they are. Best of luck to all of us!
Very Nice vehicle 👍👍👍 Belgium.
This is an already running video. Not a startup video.
The bumpers are very ugly
Aidan I
Nice Jeep, but it looks kind of odd being so shiny. On trip to the trails and it won't be so pristine. Needs a few dents and scratches. Jmho.
Exactly!
Breathe through your nose lol
I had a 1947 CJ2A that was bought new. Same color !
The bumper looks European. Custom fitted?
..may be just the heating seats !
2016... I would buy that.. bur this was 4 years ago... yeah it's 6o years old now.. but it wasn't where this was made. you spared the expensve of orignal flares.
👌👍❤️❤️❤️
Hoping to see some lights
mine is not for sale right nw.
price
My only question is whats up with Willy Nelson
Yeah. He was just sitting there like a wooden Indian.
2078 miles? You mean 278 miles on an M-38 speedometer which is not period correct for the vehicle, in which you know nothing about . . .
Wrong shifter, to. Probably a gearbox from a different Jeep.
Period correct color? Perhaps. But not that glossy sh*t back then. These things came in a semi flat finish. This is junk.
They were not semi flat finished. They were the same finish and quality as any new Harbor Freight tool box sold today. Single stage gloss enamel with a fast hardener. So was the black frame. I like the semi finishes myself, but I don't know why you remember CJs that way, if your 80 years old?
The gangbanger car basically
Mine is better. Owned by me from brand new, mine is a 1996! It was always garaged, never abused, as I am a woman , I am not into speed , just beauty and uniqueness. I drive mine once a week, weather permitting, eat coast car, 27,750 miles on her, I love her. I will sell when I can get most of my purchase price back.
What color is your SS Jane, is yours for sale by chance.
BEAUTIFUL ... (I'd loose the side moldings AFT of the rear wheels tho).
How much did this sale for? I'm late but looking for one! I used to have one in the late 90's...
There is one for sale right now if you are interested I'll post the link
Always a great idea to restore a classic Jeep Willys than buy a new fake 4 door abomination, but finish it, don't display this half assed effort as a complete restoration, get with it will ya! Jeep On 🇺🇸
bro I'm looking at one rn that has 113000 miles, 34k is absolutely crazy as fuck
Give me an MB/GPW any day.
I figured out what GM did on bucket seat head rest. They ran foam up higher using cop car bucket seats with pvc pipe across back forcing head rest slightly forward. My caprice I cut center console area made driver bucket. To bad covers are 800 dollars to rich for my blood.
Looks like a splash and dash ..
Amen
this was done by a hack...
Jdjdhfkrj doehvdhf
Why do say that? Just curious.
Lots of unoriginal stuff if you know what to look for. Many parts on this Jeep off of other years and models. Pretty common with "restored" Jeeps, Model Ts, Volkswagens, etc.
Sweat car!!!!! :)
Richard Killy Lousy spelling. Sweat is what one does when one is hot. Sweet is the taste of sugar. Maybe you need to put some sweat into learning how to spell words
no bucket seat and console! for get it still grannies ride. 😂
my favorite car
Got one, original 1 owner great cond. 40,001 miles. Still has original 255/40/17 ZR tires! !! Just Saying...
K
Can i have it please please
how rare are these? Man I really want one now! I'm putting my stock 231 buick v6 back in my 79 lemans as well! and I think I have that Turbo 3.8 Setup... Might sell it
