This is an arrangement of the popular Mungo Jerry song In The Summertime. It is based around the blues chords in E in standard tuning and has a difficulty rating of 5 out of 10. The large crosses indicate tapping on the guitar body with the fingers and then thumb to suggest the heavy breathing in the actual song. The E chord is also played in three positions to create interest.

A moderately difficult fingerstyle exercise based around the E7#9 chord sometimes known as the Hendrix chord. The large crosses indicating taps are carried out with fingers followed by thumb on the right hand. It is in standard tuning with a difficulty rating of 4 out of 10 and should be suitable for improving beginners upwards.
