Interview With Roger Moore In San Francisco While Filming A View To A Kill
From 1985 television show Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous with Robin Leach. Has great views of San Francisco during the filming of the James Bond film and shows Roger's fun loving personality and interaction with fans.

Roger Moore in my opinion was the best bond ever!!!
R.I.P Roger Moore You was a True Gentleman Saint Legend. These 2 A View To A Kill Makings Are Almost the Same. R.I.P Tanya Roberts You was an Okay Actress
I always loved this Bond movie 🍿 don't know why it's not considered one of the best 🎰
Roger was always such a class act. Still miss him alot.
Rip Roger, Tanya and Robin Leach❤❤❤
RIP Tanya Roberts and Roger Moore
Charismatic icon of bond
my favourite bond.. much underrated.. only his self-deprecating humour and charm could have carried off those camp absurd 70s bond films
My dad saw Roger walking around in Wembley n the 70s unnoticed! RIP!
*+RIP Sir Roger Moore+* >>> You have always been my favored British actor, even in the role of the Knight IVANHOE !!!! You'll never gonna be forgotten in Poland !!!!
too bad its low quality and audio...
Roger Moore is my favorite James Bond actor over Sean Connery. Why? Sean Connery obviously snubbed the role for 'bigger and better things'. Roger Moore loved being James Bond to his dying day.
Sir Roger is my favourite Bond on account of that now sadly elusive C-Word... Charm! 🇬🇧🏆
Roger Moore is my favourite too but there is more to this story. Sean Connery was paid peanuts for his bond movies and the producers refused to pay him anymore when his contract expired. Sean Connery described the working conditions as an uphill grind. Roger Moore was willing to do it for cheap. So they hired Roger Moore as a discount version of Sean Connery. They kept Roger Moore as long as his movies made a profit. I still he believe he was fired after his last James Bond movie because it did not do well at the box office.
Rogermoor was fit good ac tor and plundered the hearts audience all over world as like previous actors who also acted as Jamesbonds.
The generation that is now - Gone with the Wind.
Best 007 ever 😊
I love how they use the score music from Bill Conti's "For Your Eyes Only"(as opposed to anything that John Barry, who did score "A View To A Kill", did for at this point 3 of Moore's Bond films), which was Sir Roger Moore's 5th Bond film.
Might be because at this point the score hadn't been done 🤷♂️ they are obviously still filming probably early into production late 1984.
Best Bond. Love how they’re playing instrumentals from ‘For Your Eyes Only,’ my favorite Bond film.
Is this around the time he was falling out with Grace Jones?j Oh and his wife wore leather trousers The secret of his great happiness....
Octopussy james bond is the best film roger moore..
Sir roger mooore is the best james bond
Looool! Alan partridge voice over!
This was his last bond as he was around 57 or 58 at the time time to go now he said.
Same age as Tome Cruise doing his 8th Mission. Roger had one more in him, but alas.
Great book my word is my bond very funny and great stories about his life. A must read.
Its a good audio book too. With Roger Moore talking. Also Bond on Bpnd audio book with Roger Moore speaking.
A view to a kill was just as good as some of the films..it was unfair slated
It also has my favourite Bond theme song!
@@ViscountVile very true
I agree. One of my favourite Bond films.
Robin Leach and Roger Moore are both passed now.
Very stylish Bond! Go watch my review of A View To A Kill!
Roger Moore insisting on doing his own stunts???? It's basically 70% stuntmen and 30% Moore on screen in these films.
I think he had tongue firmly in cheek...
Rest in peace Roger Moore brilliant actor to have played James Bond gentleman
Rest In Peace Sir Roger 🙏🏻
Is that Steve Coogan narrating?
Cal Clark robin leach
Alan Partridge
Roger Moore is not my favorite Bond but I think if it wasn't for him playing him so many times, the character James Bond will not be around today imo.
In fact ALL music in this clip is from the FYEO soundtrack. I guess Bill Conti's music just had an aura of opulence that fit the show. The show's title theme was also a Conti composition.
Bill Conti - For your eyes only: 1:05-2:15
Where is Walken? They should have let him speak here too, he basicely made the film. Zorin is one of the best Bond villains ever.
Walken wouldn't have been on Set that day. He wasn't in that particular scene. But there is another video on UA-cam where Roger and Walken both get interviewed
at 2:46, the woman in shades on the right is none other than Maud Adams, whose appeared in bothe the Man with the Golden Gun, Octopussy, and cameos in this film.
Up for debate. In the UA-cam video “Interview with Roger Moore on the set of View to a Kill” you can clearly see Maud at 2:50 in a black pant suit and white blouse visiting the set in San Francisco. But in the “James Bond Cameos” video the woman who is supposed to be Maud is in a Tan jacket and black blouse and pants and is obviously NOT Maud. I submit that if there was footage of Maud in SF, it was cut from the film before theatrical release.
Around 1:14:35 in the film (right after the scene where May Day and Zorin comments on the view from the blimp at the Golden Gate Bridge), as the cable car goes from right to left, watch the railing closest to the camera, right above the "Rose A" boat. Lady with dark brown hair, black jacket, and white blouse rotates towards the camera. Maybe that's her?
Roger Moore looks good but he looks past it. He should have left with For Your Eyes Only.
Moonraker more like....Lewis Collins should have taken over at that point
Past it , I wish I look like that at 58
Roger Moore was by far the best 007!
And even proven even more true by the shitty crap DC made in the last 12 years since your post. Thank god DC is gone, finally, we can wipe these last 16 years down the toilet.
Sir Roger has such poise and grace. He's one of a kind.
