You got new subscriber🥳 Great job on your animation!
Really helpful
Came across this video while browsing for general idea / help with how to make a particular scene like this in UA-cam. Purchased this. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much !
So you are French ? I love your accent from Seine-et-Marne, merci mec 😉
Cool tutorial brother
Thanks !
very useful ..thank you
Thanks !
You should update to blender 4.2, as there are ,any differences in how the shader interacts with the light and the settings are splitted. I would say this is already old as the day it comes out
I made sure it worked for 4.0+ as not everyone updates regularly but keep in mind all the examples in the introduction are done in the latest version. Your concern is valid though and I appreciate it 🙏
Hi there. Impresive work. Is it possible to change the terrain heightmap? Not modify the terrain displacement but directly pass it a custom heightmap? Thanks,
It is possible by going to the displacement modifier and tweaking it there, also I remember there is an add-on that allows to extract google earth data, you might want to look into that for your personal use ! Highly recommend
@@workflowprojectYes, that's the idea. Thank you very much.
I like simple solutions very much, thanks i will get it!
Thanks for the great feedback !
Banger !!!
Thanks !
My man..... Really Thanks for this , i need a forest highway kind a scene to make my car animation.. thanks 👍
Thank you !
Cool video! Best explanation! Thanks!
Thanks !
Not sure why I landed on this video :-) and although I will probably never use this workflow it was quite interesting to see in action.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Something else that can "kinda" work is if you select the whole model, then go to mesh->Normals->Average->Face. This uses a different algorithm to calculate the normals and can often sort out a lot of shading issues on this type of model. But the results you get will depend on how you create your models topography, since I am generally making things for games for a car I tend to avoid subdivsurf to (try to at least xD) keep the polygon counts lower. But the way you showed in the video is pretty cool and not something I have seen before so thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for the insight !
Wow, that's a really interesting way to look at 3D objects. I think that for many, including myself this workflow is a bit counterintuitive for complex models, but like you said, it's certainly useful for a specific niche.
Thanks ! It's a weird way my brain has been wired since using autodesk Alias and falling in love with the workflow haha
THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL . THIS IS A "LOOK WHAT I CAN DO"
It is a tutorial 😭 it shows step by step 😭
Merci !
Lovely work man, looking forward to more of your videos
Thanks a lot !
The tutorial went so good until 11:30 after that time there is a shitty jump cut and there are 2 different math nodes I couldn't see the connections and also color ramp changed as map range which no explanation about that. Sorry for the time I spent.
very sorry for the time you spent

Please put that money is required in the title next time...
There is a full free tutorial in how to make it, it's in french though
super bravo c'est génial
Merci !
can u please make it in English or put English subtitles with all the buttons/controls and settings you apply so that it is easier to understand , would be great help and please keep making detailed tutorial like this really helpful .
I think someone actually did it with AI and posted it for themselves essentially stealing my content, anyways
@@workflowproject can you tell me their channel, hehehe
Is there a way to make it a dirt or gravel road?
By changing the texture I suppose !
@@workflowproject gotcha, wasn't sure if there were other road textures included. Thanks for the reply!
Trying to contact you
Sorry not very active, contact me via email directly at lucasdesfossez@gmail.com
Mdrrr t'as kiffé 😂

Great tut and project file. I bought it a couple of days a go, but have over written the file. wondered if you could resen please. I can send you the email addy that i bought it with. cheers
Sorry i did not notice your comment, in theory you should have access to that file indefinetely on your gumroad library
Found it, thanks :-)@@workflowproject
Can you make it so that one of the blender files for the forest road is free
Watch my tutorial in french on how to make a forest, if learning french is worth more than 20€, consider getting the asset on my gumroad 😎
@@workflowproject I wish I could, but I am not allowed to spend money on online things
@@workflowproject can you make a English tutorial
Actually, a shameless youtuber stole my video and made an awful A.I voice over, look for 'forest tutorial blender' and look for the same thumbnail as my french tutorial
@@workflowproject thank you
Bro borrowed the computer from NASA to make this tutorial
Nah it's optimized 😎

What is the mesh of the road?
Simple array and curve modifier
amazing, only problem i have is that trees come out perpendicular to the ground where in real life they would always point straight up. Would be 10/10 if the trees were fixed
Good feedback
Looks very interesting, I might get this. One question though, are the texture issues for the trees as reported in the comments below fixed ?
Unfortunately this asset works only for 3.3 for now, one fix I found is to apply the geometry nodes for the trees or replace the trees in 3.4+ which is a rather easy fix. I might work on the asset in the next few weeks but time is hard to get these days haha
@@workflowproject Cool thank for the quick reply, do you think replacing trees with the addon Alpha Trees from Blender market can do the trick ? (the trees are not models just flat planes that rotate with the camera)
I do think so and have done so myself for an assetto corsa fun track 😎
Merci for your video! Currently, I have problems to export my Cartoon brush. The model seems fine, but the Cartoon material is lost. Do you know how I could fix that?
Unfortunately the cartoon material seems to be gravity sketch only, it is achievable in blender but you'd have to remake it
Excellent.
Thanks !
Brilliant design! Love it.
Thank you !
Its a CAR BIKE!!!! What!?
Haha yess that's my thesis project as a transportation designer, wanted something to fit an automobilist's needs but in a sustainable way for dense urban areas, and also letting them adopt an active lifestyle
@@workflowproject so now the question is do they drive on the bike lane or on the road, or half way in between :D
Bro that's awesome💯💯
Thank you !

Thank you !

Hi :) I am interested in getting the scene to use as a base for an architecture project im working on, do you think it would be possible for me to turn the road into a path and not raised as much ?
That would need a bit of fiddling around but it may be possible, I'd recommend watching a tutorial and making it yourself to make sure you have controle over everything in the scene I recommend the trees from polygoniq , free version is enough by far for simple backgrounds 😁
