A return to an old site for a day which involved a lot of walking and searching. Luckily I was able to unearth some interesting lost relics and history.

A few hunts in the bucolic South Australian Countryside.

Out in the Victorian Goldfields trying to find that elusive coin. There was a lot of walking involved to gather these few finds.

After a record prolonged dry spell, I couldn't wait for the rain anymore. The tactic was to look amongst fallen long grass and low-lying areas that are usually covered with water during winter.

Excavating an old slate floor provided an opportunity to get the pin pointer out and see if anything was ever lost into cracks of the old floor.

A visit back home to Victoria to catch up with some detecting mates and the chance to find some goldfield silvers.

Out for a couple of hunts. One site had the shortest grass conditions in years which then threw up a wide array of colonial tokens.

This episode we head out to an old site, we were surprised at just how early some of these coins are that surfaced.

A trip up north to check out a couple of Shepherd's Huts we had permission to look around. As usual they are pretty hard going but always great to see.

I get out for a couple of relic hunts and catch up with Paul from "Cointector." We return for to the "Old Spot" from the previous episode.

I'm out searching for some old coins , and what better place to look than an old site. Even if I find only one coin for the day , the fascination is there in the history uncovered.

This episode I'm off to examine some incredible stone cairns out in the bush. First sighted in the 1890's these stones are mysterious regarding there origin and maker. I took my detector along, though no evidence of metal could be found. Their intrigue continues.

This episode I'm over at the Victorian Goldfields for a few hunts and catch up with Mick & Paul from Cointector. One outing I find one unrecognisable Silver coin, it turns out to be the first year of the American Trime.
