The first time i did this trail it was because a friend told me no way can a handcycle navagate it, challenge accepted lol. It was definitely not easy and infact foolish to do. 2nd time was to do a video like this but my front facing camera had issues. I wont go back a 3rd time haha.
It's so secluded and ominous the deeper you go. You could get killed, and no one would ever know
Hey Rob, I really enjoyed the Frankfurt bike tour. I just now got a chance to take a look. The last few weeks have been busy, then on vacation most of the time had no wifi.
Thanks Frank. I noticed that it was on the similar format of the San Antonio Mission Reach film that we produced recently (ua-cam.com/video/cud3W93Q76g/v-deo.html). Likewise to our filming, I encountered background noise issues.

Frank is a great guy. I met him back in the seventies. We were in the same motorcycle club then. In our older age, we have both become bicyclists.

How many miles?
The Red Trail at McAlllister Park is 6 miles. Our video covered segments that represented about half of that distance; we turned off to the Dog Park, the location of the Salado Creek Trail Head. You can view our Salado Creek video and other videos from this site. Enjoy.
