Inspired by Jean Cébron. This movement study is presented as an etude created to intentionally support my research of integrating and implementing modern dance concepts in ballet training. Not knowing what principles lie behind the etudes from Cébron, it has nevertheless led me to believe that the fabrication of the diverse layers within this study may have emanated from Cébron’s corporeal body...

Contemporary Class with Sarah Davies. Students are between the ages of 12-21 years from Tanzwerk Hippmann in Wels, Austria. Music credits Chris Cawthray
Hi! Would it be possible to have a video compilation of all the Delsarte exercises? Or is there already a resource like this? I found the book but I think learning from videos would be best.
These exercises were created for movement research and inspired from the descriptions of Genevieve Stebbins. I have not come across any videos showing Delsarte exercise combinations.
Is there no music? which kind of music did they use in this kind of exercises? thank you very much
Isabella Peghin, to begin with, the students did the exercises without music in order to fully concentrate on the arm articulations. Eventually I was using contemporary dance class music by Michael Roberts.
BEAUTIFUL. Love the expression within the movement.
that's really cool
