Now I remember why I love the Diablo SV. I recall in this game it was slightly understeery.
It is an awesome car. I like that they used it during the intro video. I did notice that the handling is slightly different from NFS: High Stakes!
I think this game solidified the love of the E39 M5 for many of us.
It is a great car, really suited to the European tracks!
lol brings back many memories. The spike strip has a delay before it activates by the way.
Yes, is still a good game! I know, I use that delay! I put the spike strip out to slow down the ones nearer the back of the pack!

It was part of a pack of Dodge Viper cars uploaded on the NFS Addons website.

@Donathan98 Ah great! No it doesn’t. It has the files for the European liveries in the .VIV file but they are just duplicates of the main livery.

Is that car available as an add-on for this game? I cannot seem to find it in the usual spots I.E. NFS Police HQ and NFS Addons websites.

Hi! Yes. I removed the city name. I cannot remember what it was originally. The Mustang replaces the Pursuit Camaro.

Where did you get that Charger?
Hi, the NFS Police HQ website has it as a Rockport Police 08 R/T Charger. I have just done minor changes to the lights and made it entirely black and added the Pursuit BMW interior to it with the Dodge logo.

How do you get this game in 2024?
Hi, there are various guides online as to how to get it working on modern hardware. There is a video titled: How to Install NFS High Stakes on a Windows 10 PC | Classic NFS PC Tutorials Made by a channel named 77Vids that provides details on exactly this.

On successful completion of first mission we unlock the ship, but what is the "first" mission here ? Prologue or The construction yard (Rahm Kota) ?
I believe it will be the construction yard mission. I haven’t played this game for a while now, hopefully someone else will be able to give you a more definitive answer. :)

I did this many years ago so I am not 100% on this. I do believe it is max level.

How to open cheat codes
After successfully completing the first mission you will unlock a ship. On the ship, scroll across to Juno. She will have an option to enter the codes.
most of these videos I watch are in kph/kmh why cant they be in American-[MPH]? I am talking about video games...
This game has the option to change the units, I had it set in KPH as that is what we use here :)

How do you find the cheat codes? i can;t find the area to enter them in the game
To enter the codes, On the ship go across to Juno then choose the option of Cheat codes.
thank you but sadly it seems that the copy of the game I downloaded is having several problems including not being able to perform the finisher attacks because for some reason the game will not accept my button inputs even though they are correct, and whenever I save and exit I have to start the level over from the beginning. I'm not sure if you have to beat the first level in order to access the ship but I couldn't access it. And i was on the mission to hunt General Kota.
Garrett Somebody. That is weird, yes unfortunately the first level does need to be completed before the ship is unlocked.
