The final day of shooting in Tyrone PA. The Altoona paper said Denzel wasn't going to be in town, but reports say he and Chris Pine were both in town to film today.

A few quick cuts of the evac scene shot in Tyrone PA on 11-3-09. Camera work leaves a lot to be desired, but they are definitely trying to discourage filming, so I kept the cam at my side :) But hey - public sidewalk in plain view and all that good stuff! Hopefully some better stuff tomorrow.
1206's horn is beautiful. Truly one of a kind.
I love how they used 1206's real horn in the movie. so cool to see it speed by the crossing like that

I was selected to play a city/ beat police officer. Was a 5 day vacation from forshey's garage and made better $. They even paid me $25 to cut my hair for free by a Hollywood stylist they flew in. Had a blast.

that's an AC4400 rented from the Canadian Pacific for filming.
Its an AC4400CW from CP and it was pre damaged for the scenes

That's Stanton police department. It should be arklow police department according to the movie.
And, ever since that movie, Tyrone has become known as Arklow.
