Delina and Atomic Rose have the same rose scent. I do feel Delina is sweeter, “cuter”. Atomic Rose is just darker, sexier, more grown up scent than delina. One leans more feminine, while the other is more Unisex/feminine leaning, they just suit two different personality types. 💕

My bottle of Naxos arrived today. I blind bought this one. At first spray I panicked as I was hit by a strong smell I didn't like. As the time went on my nose started to acclimate and the smell got better. I am now wearing it for a little less that two hours and the dominant smell is a fresh and clean smell. It feels as if I'm on a beach next to an impossibly blue sea. I sprayed la vie est belle on my other arm just so I can have something to compare Naxos to. While the la vie est belle smells alcoholic, the Naxos has a more natural smell to it. La vie est belle is also a strong scent: it has a high projection but smells in a way empty in comparison with Naxos that seems to project less off the skin but has a fuller smell towards it. The Naxos is giving me ocean and coconut vibes? I like it a lot. It's definitely unisex, works on me as a woman.

The suede and leather notes sometimes give me the fecal notes on some days. Maybe that’s what happened to you the first time. Not sure if it was a body chemistry thing or a weather thing but the same happens to me with some perfumes that have animalic notes.

I do not like Gentle fluidity gold, yeah it has juniper berries and also(to my nose) very sweet plumeria. Just way too floral to me.

I hope the tobacco isn't overwhelming and that people won't ask me if I'm a smoker. I haven't received the bottle yet

Have you tried the Mugler Angel Eau Croisiere (the mango one from 2018 orange/pink colored bottle)? I really enjoy that one. Could a guy wear Mango Skin?

I’m 2 years late but fell in love with this one recently. The wet scent made me physically recoil at first but I am absolutely in love with the dry down. It also has excellent throw when mixed with my body chemistry and LASTS! Ughh, I’m so sorry you don’t have the same experience with the throw of this one 😓

Thank God people tell their true opinions on here. I was influenced to by a knockoff Arabian fragrance called Khair Pistachio (I think) that is supposed to smell just like Kayali Pistachio Gelato which I own and love. Well, it smells nothing like it & it’s kind of cheap smelling. Well, I put my honest review on Fragrantica & it was voted off. Now other people like me are going to buy it and might be disappointed too.

I tried with best intentions to fall for Love Tuberose or Blossom Love or even the new one they did called Love Delight. I found them overly sweet and girlish. As a professional woman, Id be embarrassed to wear these to work which is the only thing frequent enough for me to need a full bottle. I do have Lilac Love in the old lilac bottle and it’s a lot more potent than the similar but less intense darker bottle. I freaking love the old version and wear it to work with some of the other older Amouage Woman like Lyric woman or Honor or Portrayal that have more resin or wood base that gives them more weight and authority. I have not tried Guidance to work yet, but will check with the sample one of these days and see if I feel comfortable. It feels less ridiculous from among the new ones.

10:13 just got the Oman version of Lilac Love in old lilac colored bottle with silver cap, and with the name printed in front. This is GORGEOUS! Exactly as described - not sweet on the tongue, but sweet in the nose, powdery, purple florals. Projection is great for about 4-5 hours and stays in personal zone for hours after that. I would lose my mind and buy up every bottle in existence if this was ever reformulated😅. TBH I feel that way about all my Amouage collection including Honor 43, Portrayal, Lilac Love. I would add Guidance there except for that one musky note in the dry down I don’t much care for. The other 3 are sheer perfection.

Yes, you're right on the money when you say that this is what a boss should smell like. This niche fragrance doesn't hit everybody's nose the same. In a crowd, this fragrance makes you very conspicuous. Of my collection, this is my most complimented fragrance. You did a great job reviewing this fragrance.

yeah if that perfume smell funky, then there's a chance you got a fake one. There are perfume sellers around NYC NJ who sell the real one out of the bottle in tester 5ml tube and refill the og bottle with fake one. Narciso Rodriguez is an excellent boutique perfume throughout my (and my wife's) hundreds of perfume experience.

Perfume is so fascinating in how different we perceive it. I love hearing how different people experience it. For me this is my everyday scent. I find it unique in that there is powerful notes but sort of wrapped in a soft covering that makes it suitable for both special and casual occasions. I usually do gravitate to more unisex scents and this is a favourite

I love this maison and bought the whole collection for women. I absolutely love all of them!... such unique and intriguing fragrances, but NONE have any lasting power. I doused myself in 1969 this morning and ten minutes later I could barely smell it. They perform more like an invisible friend than a fragrance companion you enjoy throughout the day. That said, I still really enjoy them. Buy the big bottles, and apply liberally/often!
