That actually would've just worked for me, on my last playthrough I told Serana after finding her to fk off to castle Volikhar and I'd meet her there, and she basically said no imma keep followin you and you can't do ntn about it.

Lol I had the same thing happen but with Kharjo. I was walking, he said something so I looked back to see what he was doing, then I saw my kitty take a swinging axe to the head and then get eaten by the wall. I cry laughed for a good 5 minutes until he respawned a bit further in the dungeon. Funny thing was he was still talking from beyond the void the whole time I was going through the dungeon without him. Makes me wonder if he was walking in the walls, following me😂😂😂Now I make kitty wait until I pull the lever on those traps lol😅lesson learned, only 8 lives remaining for Kharjo
