That Pho Lovers restaurant used to be a donut shop, we used to get our jelly fills, bear claws and glazed back in the 70s and next to it was a Hanshaw Liquor, the post office behind it is still there. Across from there in the 90s was Chinese Video I used to rent Hong Kong films of John Woo, Jackie Chan and Tsui Hark. The lady that ran it was surprised that some blue haired Mexican dude would know about that.😂

Absolutely the WORST airport in all Southeast Asia! Did this same trip in February '23. Arrived at SGN at 05:35 for a 08:55 departure. Didn't emerge from the Security queues (to LEAVE the country!) until 08:05. I DO believe there was a lot of intentional airport staff foot-dragging going on. Hopefully I can avoid this horrid place in the future.

I grew up in Huntington Beach and I remember when they built this mall. I was there every weekend. There was a really cute little restaurant in there that we would go to on Friday nights and they would show old little rascals movies and my sister and I would go spend our allowance at the mall and my favorite place to go was to a bookstore. That place was always packed when I was a kid and I remember my friends and I going to the movies over there
