Hey man! I know this video 5 months old from this comment and I dont know if you will see it but I am glad I ran into your videos. I am training MMA and we share the same humbleness and respect towards the sport, always trying to improve our technique and getting better everyday. I also feel the same way in regards to sparring, it should not be about throwing haymakers or kicks that will destroy our training partners. It is about improving, trying different things out, and see how you feel. Just subscribed to you, keep up the good content. Once again, we share the same mentality when going into training and sparring sessions. So that was refreshing to see, some people just go into sparring wanting the to KO everyone and it is not about that.
Hey bro ! I try to see all the comments, appreciate it the support and happy to have another martial artists in the community 🤝🌐
Everyone in the comments signed up for fighting and none of you think this is bitching and moaning?? I really do not see a single thing wrong w how this guy is sparring and a lot of you must have losing records if this is what irks you
🐱🐱
New my ass, definitely has not been training for just a month
@@EarlOfLemongrabb he could’ve lied but that’s just what I was told bro
Ur pushing, but I understand in ur head ur probably getting the movement down before u speed things up or go a little more force, usually what I do. Keep up the work man, never hate on someone Chasing greatness
Nice man!! 👌
Appreciate it bro
One of my fav channels to watch
Appreciate you and all your interactions bro 🤝
You pieced him up, he needs to stop relying on his chin and keep his hands up
Sparring at gyms in general would be so much better with a bit of communication. Similar to sex lol
These stupid videos need to stop. One complete beginner sparring an almost complete beginner. Guess what the complete beginner has no control. And now it's on the internet.
💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Knees in sparring is bad manners too, just like elbows. You gotta ask them if they are cool woth it befofe and usualy only if u have knee and/or elbow pads and also while only thro8ng them when you know you can control the power and they wont walk in to the knee/elbow and take damage. Imo the same thing can be said about headkicks.
What he means is that your pushing rather than striking with a, "Snap." Notice how the three combos are more of you pushing rather than snapping? You step with the jab (not bad thing, but not a snap), your cross is being thrown, but not as if your sniping that mitt with power, and samething with your hook. Throw your strikes quicker, bring it back to you quickly, but don't use extra movement because it takes away the snap. Your jab hits, than cross, and the hook is thrown with the core being the focal point to enable the last strike to be powerful. Hopefully, I explain this well, because I can see what he meant by not snapping enough but texting is a lot harder than showing 😂
You explained it well, I had an idea of what he meant but you broke it down even better 🤝
Not saying you are but don’t fault your coach for it either..he guided you in the right direction and if further research is done on your part you will return to practice with more knowledge on what he wants from you! Especially since he’s got more people to focus on but like I said not saying you were saying any of that but just something to keep in mind! We are students even your coach so the learning shouldn’t stop outside of the gym
you keep weight on your toes so you can extend and use the power to throw your cross, solid becomes snappy
Cant relate
Very nice technique. I think it's good that you can do nice kicks like that. I don't have that proficiency yet. You seem very fluent for a guy with only 8 months training. Nice work. I like the movement and you handled yourself well.
Before people get triggered I'm just gonna say that it's unrealistic to expect inexperienced people with only one month to be able to spar lightly. If you're better then you should still be able to manage or de-escalate. It's kind of a responsibility of the more experienced guy to make them understand the dynamic at that gym. Not saying that all hits are fair, but it's a good thing to keep in mind.
Remember to not do this on every mistake, I’ve had guys not let me get loose cos they stop me every 5 seconds for some technique, not saying I’m ungrateful I do understand what there trying to do but if your not the teacher stop trying SO hard to teach and let me spar the thing I paid to do. Love the stuff though dude not hating
100% bro I get what you’re saying. Everything in moderation is fine
This is exactly how it is, every dude at the gym loves to help the newbies. Love it
Gotta help the newbies ‼️
Bro casually describing him absolutely destroying that dude 😂
😂😂😂
1:30 😂
you are amazing for 8 months, how many times a week do you train?
Appreciate it, usually 4-5 times a week
Damn you are now friends 😂
😂😂 yeah anyone that steps in the gym consistently is my boy
Damn, what a clown. That black dude need to take a book instead of a muay thai glove
You have to learn how to shell up properly
I think the new guy is out of order. More than anything whoever you spare, hard or light, show respect... From my experience people who go in hard espicially either when they are newcomers need to show respect to those already in the gym
Nice style
Thanks
Nicely done man!
1:30 *“so here he threw a jab and i was actually able to block it with my face…”*
😂
😂
Watch out for the lady boys bro
Where are you going to train? I’m currently training at Samart Payakaroon gym.
I need to get like you. Just scared to start
2:36 beautiful
I think you sparred well as the more experienced fighter. The new guy seems to know something already, he doesn't seem completely green. Personally, it took a long time to train myself to not lose control when I got tagged, regardless of the power. I think it is a natural reaction, but not a reaction useful in combat sports where one must stay calm. Controling the power on the backhand can be quite difficult, now and again one with a little more power than I planned will get thrown, provided it's one and I acknowledge it I don't see this as an issue. The 'new guy' seemed to have this issue when he was swinging with his right. I didn't see any ill intentions from the guy, just lack of experience, control and possibly some nerves.
What an idiot
Good vid bro
He was wild as shit and needs a lot of work. You looked way better than the 1st dude
Yeah he was def a wild one bro
He is very good ..👍
Isn't louis the same guy thats been doing it only for 1 month? Ive been doing muay Thai for over 8 years and even taught in college, and you both look like you been doing it for 1-2 year +
@@kimurasquirrel nahh Luis has been doing it for a while, he beats me up all the time, I sparred him after I trained for 1 month
@@kimurasquirrel nahh Luis has been doing it for a while, he beats me up all the time, I sparred him after I trained for 1 month. Also appreciate the compliment bro
Thanks for putting yourself out there!
Appreciate it bro, your videos are 🔥🔥
The way he tried a double leg takedown on you at the end 😅
😂😂😂
I honestly just spam sweeps if newbies keeps going hard after ive said no power. They obviously dont know how to control power but its a good chance for me to turn them upside down.
I noticed the same when sparring my brother . He’d get really pissed at my basic jabs and swing for home run then get pissed more when I land again. It’s just the adrenaline new people aren’t used to. Hard to fight a chemical reaction . Really liked this video and how you handled this man
CTE, Concussions, brain damage. I mean who cares as long as you prove how big your balls are and how tough you are. That’s the only thing that matters. 😅 I was at a couple of gyms like that when I first started boxing only because I didn’t know that’s the wrong way to do sparring. Having a good boxing , mma, Thai coach goes a long way.
you need hard sparrings from time to time, specially when preparing to fight... Around the 90% of videos from this channel show light/mid light sparrings, but again, you do need hard sparrings from time to time to get used to the energy and the pressure
We’ll said 👍🏼
is this really just 9 months? so your saying you knew nothing 9 months ago. how did you improve this quickly?
@@etcetinx yeah I had no experience at all 9 months ago. A lot of training and watching film has helped a lot ‼️
Noticed you were opening your face up a lot, was that because you knew he couldn’t really do much damage? Also your kicks are so clean bro!
@@junstirr1860 ehh it was more of me being undisciplined with my high guard and not expecting him to blitz in with the double jab & appreciate it bro ‼️
His technique and rhythm makes me want to vomit
