An interesting take on a comparatively rare LWB Chrysler by Chrysler. Stripe package looks great, for these ones appeared in the styling studios of Chrysler Oz. Coooool additional engine mods poking out of the hood. Wiiiiide interior and plush fit out. Terrific looking rims and rubber. 😁👍

Guess it's the ubiquitous 202,and with the moonshot 1st gear of the floor mounted 4 speed 'box. Laughingly, GMH used this gearbox in the LH Torana G-Pack 3300cc(202ci) model,supposedly a "sports " set-up. Everyone laughed at them in much the same way as when they sold a TF Gemini ZZ/Z package, some years later. Thanks for the upload 😁👍

Looks like HJ seat's. A very solid presentation of the one tonner floorpan. GMH design did a terrific job in making so many variants out of the one platform. Interesting how they reprised the VT/Z Commodore floorpan in a similar way. Those were the days, Oz ingenuity at it's best. Thanks for the upload 😁👍

A magnificent machine...! As kids we'd drool over the latest Monaro, and even the hotrod Ford's and Valiants. The late '60's into early '70's was fantasy land ,especially living in Sydney. A school friend's dad sometimes dropped him off at school in his Diamond white Phase 2 GTHO. Interesting that the last batch of 150 of the 350 HG's had acceleration times virtually identical to the Phase 2. Pity the GMH MD at the time wouldn't let Harry race one in series production, ie,Sandown or Bathurst in 1970. Thanks for the upload 😁👍

The Australian Ford Falcon was a great car. To renovate that car would be a nice project. Straight 6 4.0 litre engine was powerful and smooth. These drove beautifully.

Has anyone stating what a work of art or how great these cars are or were, actually owned or even driven one? They were a load of crap, and I owned one exactly like this. They were slow, had bad brakes, bad handling, bad paint, and were terribly made rust buckets, especially if you got a friday assembled car! A basic four cylinder car from today would outperform, out brake, out handle, and be 1000% safer on the roads.
