Lovely catching up with you this morning Beks. I absolutely love the colours you've chosen for your next Simon shawl - I've wanted to knit one for a while and might have to shamelessly copy you! I also think your mitts pattern is gorgeous and as red is my favourite colour I might treat myself to a skein of Cherie to knit them in.

Lovely to see you again Beks, sounds like you had a great time at the wool show. I saw Ali and Gaynas vlogs as well. I’ve never been to a fibre/wool show. I’m in New Zealand and while there are plenty here, they are always in the main centres and I live really out of the way lol. One day I’ll pluck up the courage to go on an adventure 😂❤❤❤

I agree with every thing you said about fitting properly and using heavy wool I find 4ply light weight is sooo nice and still warm to wear 🤩😃👌✨

I know it says fingering but under suggested yarns it tells you to use both fingering and kumo which is the lace weight. Just thought I would point that out.

Shouting at the TV, as I bound off in the exact same way, on the bottom ribbing of my tolsta vest! We should name it 🤣🤣. X

Really gorgeous and inspiring knits this episode ( as usual). Do share any tips or tricks you discover about seaming garments (the tip you gave about putting all the needed bulb markers onto the sleeve ready use was brilliant). I have only tried seaming a few times and found it very difficult to get a result I was happy with.

I started knitting many years ago so always used those old style patterns. I now find it hard to do top down but am getting better. I tried the tolsta t but got muddled with doing the short rows..think I chose the wrong yarn too. I love your crochet cardigan. You chose such wonderful colours xx
