Just getting this channel kicked off. For now, the primary focus will be around athletes in the area with lots of focus on trail running. It'll include routes, races, athlete interviews, and other random videos. If you have any ideas for content or know anyone in the Asheville area (or beyond) that is doing something rad let me know. Bear with me while I learn about filming and editing.

2023 Hellbender was a year dominated by Asheville locals Tim Nooney and Jonathan Ibach. Both placing 1st and 2nd and breaking the previous course record. Brad is about run Canyons by UTMB 100mile race this weekend in California. Brad has only been running ultras for a short time but has had great success. He hopes for a top 10 finish that will secure himself a spot at the famous UTMB race. I had a great time running and chatting with Brad. I think he has a good chance at a top 3 finish this year. Stoked to see what he can do!

This is a beautiful trail run on Sao Miguel island off the coast of Portugal. Melanie and I run about 2/3 of it due to time. It was her first trail run and she crushed it. The route has amazing views. It is sunny and exposed. Bring enough water and a hat. Lots of hikers, runners, and a few off-road vehicles.
