Yeah i was very nervouse, i had some baldrian before the show, i used my small Valley Arts guitar short scale, which looks a bit funny but sounded great, this video was filmed by my ex girlfriend. Enjoy !!!!! Roland

1982 NDR documentation "zwischen Rock und Razzia", which is about the Rampage band and the bassplayer, which was a police man at that time in Hamburg. Bandmembers are: Jörg Schädlich Bass Vocals, Karsten Heyer Guitars Vocals, Rainer Müller Drums and Roland Grapow Guitars Vocals, (ex Helloween and now Masterplan)

One of the best HelloweeN line-ups, ever... What a pity... The real problem of the band, Toxicity Man... Michael Weikath.
Weikath is the reason why Helloween is still alive. And he is also the reason why Roland has big weight in music world nowadays. Without him he maybe was a car mechanic or smth, with great respect to Roland, but he told something like that by himself in interview. But I also agree with you, that's my favourite line-up too. 1994-1998 (motr-toto-btr) are best Helloween's albums by far, even Keepers not even close
@@imyarek4531 Yes, it's a great composer, a great musician, a genious writing melodies... but, as a person... His personality, his ego, his special character to cause a lot of conflicts... Everyone ends up having problems with him, except Markus (that is know). He can't stand anyone standing out above him, he likes to lead too much, and because of this, HelloweeN lost so many good musicians and outstanding talents. About his natural talent and his courage to keep the band alive, I can't criticize, quite the contrary. Although, really, the one who has the most merit in keeping HelloweeN alive is Andy... Weikath was about to close the chapter and continue on his own.

But it may be a long post and I don't think it's correct to write so much about Hell's conflicts on Roland's personal page. So if you are interesting in this discussion we may continue somewhere private

Hope Roland and Deris do a tour together, even though don't know if they stood in good terms after they kicked him out, Roland is by far the best guitarist helloween had, Sascha is good but he is not as creative nor hard writing, Roland did magic on the writing and on stage doing lead guitar and back vocals he was beyond awesome, no wonder why weikath was so jealous
