    Hi, I would just like to clarify if the things that you put inside this fanny pack could fall out through the opening this in that position. How secure are your belongings inside the fanny pack with this design? I'm planning to make this a gift so I would like to know if it's a practical design. Thank you!

      Ok. I think what I wanted guidance on was how many rows up/stitches across did you place it? Also did you afix anything inside to stop the l/h side drooping. Hope I’ve explained myself ok lol x

      I believe one of pictures shows I placed it in the bottom corner edge of the inside of the collar, but it’s removable so you can place it anywhere, and a button on the inside of the other side is a good idea to keep it from sagging. I would try on your sweater, adjust it how you want it and use a stitch marker to help you know where to put the button on the inside, hope that helps 😬👍

    Many designers teach this way. I know I can make post patterns even if they’re using #3 yarn and a 4 mm hook and I have my trusty 5 mm & #4 weight yarn. I’m a large so 21-24 inches will fit my waist and that’s a chain of 63 (back side).Anything that doesn’t work with my #’s I can decide whether or not to make.❤️

    I am interested in this approach to creating correct sized pieces. There does seem to be a lot of math involved, but with practice it will probably be a great way to get a good fit. Betty, from Yarned and Dangerous, suggested your channel for great crochet instruction. I will be going back to watch some of your other videos!

      I will try to help if I can, I’m not sure what you mean exactly by points? Stitches, maybe? But yes like my friend Betty said, I don’t have a specific stitch count because each part of the pattern is based on your specific size or measurements. So for example the very first chain you make will be the length you determine from measuring from your shoulder to halfway between your chest and stomach (belly button) and doubling that number, for me it was 15 inches then I doubled it so 30 inches. So then I chained however many stitches it took to reach approximately 30 inches long. Does that help?

    • @lelemakesstuff3086
      @lelemakesstuff3086 2 роки тому

      Really depends on your yarn, the more stretch the yarn has the easier it is for them to get out of, so it’s a delicate balance of no stretch but small enough you can get it on them without damage 😁🤷‍♀️
