Fishing At Tommy Thompson Park Toronto 2022
lol I’ve been catching pretty big barracuda on this super fun when they hit on top water
hookup ratio looks trash
In central california we catch large mouth and striped bass with super spooks. great lure
When I was a teen, we wade fished small rivers and creeks, throwing rooster tails mainly, and caught a lot of fish. Where the water circles in the eddies are the best places and unusual in our indentions along the banks.
Where is this I’ve been looking for a spot to fish in Toronto for years
Check my channel, it’s Tommy Thompson park. Definitely still hard to catch fish but they are there
You should try Dorchester Mill Pond while there’s still some fish left good people fishing there but then there’s the people who take everything no matter size or season
There’s a spot that I fish that has a muffler and other car parts in it…there’s old oil drums across from Ross park in the river…the fishing is better than you’re saying though! lol
Want to go fishing for browns in sim or?
Simcoe
I’ve been to this spot a good 15 times now (idk why I’ve gone that many times I’m just stubborn) haven’t caught anything but there was a really cool orange/white/black koy/carp in there
The Thames is actually cleaner and healthier than most rivers in southwestern Ontario. Ppl act like they gonna die stepping in the water
bro i go to Thames all the time to go fishing with my grandpa didn't think popular fishers were in the area
Haha I wouldn’t call myself popular, but maybe one day
@@OTAngling bro you are in my opinion like bro your content is great keep it up!
I'm from London, were you on the east or west side of the city? The trees look similar to the ones by the bridge on Highbury Ave.
East, you guessed pretty close to where I was
@@OTAngling Nice! I have been meaning to go try that area, normally I go to the part of the river around Delaware. Quieter and that part of the river has more hollows.
Yes, the Thames has all sorts of nasty stuff flowing into it. But it is also a very healthy ecosystem. I’ve fished it for years. But I would advise waders. There is a sewage runoff that goes into the river. But I’ve also caught some serious fish in very close proximity. 😂
Yeah I will get waders eventually, for now taking my chances
I was told that thames in London is very poluted n not to eat the fish ..is this true pls thx.
I have no clue, I wouldn’t. I don’t eat bass anyways
That's crazy, I live in London ontario!, I'm glad to see theres fishing here, I'm gonna go!
I have fished a lot of lures I haven't caught anything on
If you want to catch Fish in that river you have to go out of town. Take the 401 West to union road and go North. About 5 miles North you will cross over the river. Where you want to go is directly underneath that bridge. As soon as you are over the bridge before you start coming back down the hill there is a gravel road that goes off to the right down into the field. That is a public access road to the river. You can park your car down there beside the farmer's field. Again it is all public access land. It is not on the reservation. Make your way down to the river and walk until you are almost underneath the bridge. You want to fish old school. Worms and weights and bobbers. You will be catching fish every 5 minutes all day long. There's 3 types of bass.... Large carp... 3 species of catfish.... Walleye and Pike.
Awesome! Thanks for the advice
Thames river conservation has declared the fish safe to eat now.
I live in london im very close to thames river lol
where were you fishing
Can you do fair bank river in Sudbury next?
Yo i live in london ontario im near the thames river so YOUR SCAWING ME
fishing in the Thames is fine, never eat the fish or your toilet will never forgive you. just might end up in emerg.
Doesn’t the hook look a bit too big for that size fish
Around where are these spots? I wanna start fishing in London and not sure exactly where to start
Any of the parks along the Thames north of London have fish.
Where’s this spot!
I live near London, I only really go into the city for London Knights games (GO KNIGHTS GO!!!) and when I need a store that Strathroy doesn't have
i live there LOL
At the same river in Ingersoll like half an hour ish away theres a huge fish i dont know what kind but it snapped my line
i live here
I loved loved living in London; I lived right on the river in Hazleton, right across form Springbank park; I experienced so much nature in that area; Beaver swimming in my pool, Geese, Deer, in my yard. The Thames is an awesome river, and you are true sportsman for letting the fish live to fight another day agonist anglers like you. Nice job! ~M
I cut my foot bad on broken glass, which then got infected with e-coli while fishing in that river when i was 12.
Nice video man, I just found your channel a few min ago. I subbed. I live in Ontario just outside of Kingston I've fished pretty much all my life! I also have a mostly fishing UA-cam channel that's small. Anyways good luck guys! 🇨🇦
I haven't fished much in years as I got older but wondering where this is in London? I kind of have an itch to go fishing again, I'm not originally from London
Without giving that exact spot away because a friend showed it to me, I’ve had success anywhere north of downtown. You could find bass in any of those parks with water access and a little calmer river flow.
Fair enough, thanks for the info.
find more needles than fish sometimes
That's a MINK...not a Muskrat.
I think the dead fish are less about the the cleanliness of the river, and more about all of the clowns who fail to handle the fish properly before returning them to the water.
There is musky in that lake. I grew up fishing on Oak Lake, which is just south of this one.
brother the thames isnt dirty because of something you would see. Its the farm runoff. Dont eat that fish.
*Rapala has a lifetime warranty on lures? lol*
Yes at the time of this video they would replace any lure that broke. They replaced 3 lures I had that broke and sent a bunch of stickers with them. They have since changed it to my understanding.
I love fishing here
bro I live across the street from there!
People who think the Thames is polluted have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.
Caught my first 2 bass on a Boyo .
Great bass fishing. Thumbs up from London Ontario
mans gonna get one of 3 things from there, sepsis tyfoid or cancer or all of the above LMAO
Awful spot.
I know exactly where you were!
Bro that’s my fishing spot!
Could you do a review of Waterworks park in st.Thomas and explain what baits would be good
I can give it a try
