At the same river in Ingersoll like half an hour ish away theres a huge fish i dont know what kind but it snapped my line

I loved loved living in London; I lived right on the river in Hazleton, right across form Springbank park; I experienced so much nature in that area; Beaver swimming in my pool, Geese, Deer, in my yard. The Thames is an awesome river, and you are true sportsman for letting the fish live to fight another day agonist anglers like you. Nice job! ~M

I think the dead fish are less about the the cleanliness of the river, and more about all of the clowns who fail to handle the fish properly before returning them to the water.

There is musky in that lake. I grew up fishing on Oak Lake, which is just south of this one.

Keep fishing bud london has great spots. The falls behind labattes is a big carp spot. Use corn worms or bread. I've also heard chicken works as well. I use soft plastic the most but have little luck. Spring bank park also has a good number of fish caught according to the app I use named fish brain.

The water is actually the cleanest it’s been in 250 years they say.

I’ve caught multiple pike where you were (just a bit further in by the culvert up and to the right by the retirement home). You should also try going for Gar down by the forks downtown, they’re fun!

From my experience, the Ripstop 11 (in black & silver) catches giant largemouth.

There is a ton of fun and fish at the thames,

I'm from London. It's not the cleanest river but it's waaayyyyy cleaner than it used to be. People refer to the river being so polluted from the Springbank dam. Back in the 90s when it was working it stopped the river flow and the river was awful, in the summer you could smell it all over the city. Early 2000s the city decommissioned the dam. Ever since the water quality has improved tremendously. We are even seeing trout coming back to the thames! Message me for some hidden gem spots!

Sadly this river is used as a bathroom by the numerous homeless encampments all along the river…forget fishing I wouldn’t go close to that water

Try behind the labatts brewery/hydro building. I get a lot of fish there from rock bass small mouth large mouths walleye carp catfish
