So if I didn't tap into that wire that's why my heater isn't igniting..?????
Wheres the follow up vid????
Which wires are you tapping into the power wire?
How do you turn on the fire on the heater ?
good thing i followed this video only for it to not work and you cant make this work, u must have lb white trademan 170 or carling gas burner and it will solve all problems
Have a question?
Did you make use and post your control box? Like to see how to do that please
Hello, Nice project! I have bought my self a burner. But i don't understand the part of the ignition. Hoe does the ignition work? Because on my burner i have to do it manualy.
I have a mr heater 250 k to 400 k hooked up to my PID... It has an auto ignite but it's not continuous ignite . When my PID calls for more heat it takes a little while for my heater to ignite it . Which causes overshooting of temps . I just need it to ignite when the pid opens the gas valve. Do I have to change any inside wiring
I looked at the Amazon link the description in the link didn't say it had ignition in the valve make up.
Doesn’t that mean the fan doesn’t constantly circulate air?
I won hundred percent believe that what you’re doing is dangerous and I am 100% going to do it
Thanks for this video. I'm trying to do something similar to set up a Mr Heater with a 110V solenoid to be used with a Thermostat to heat a garage/shop. The question I have is. Did the Mr Heater model you bought second hand, have an auto igniter/sparker module on it already? Mine is a cheap $99 model that has a push button sparker/igniter. I'm trying to figure out the simplest way to replace or automate that sparker so that instead of a push button type, it has one that ignites off of the 110V AC - Like on a gas oven/stove top.... plugs in with 110V and has a spark module that ignites the gas. And I want that sparker to only ignite when it is first switched on (to ignite the gas flow) and then either based on a 2 - 3 second timer etc... or on temperature, the sparker would stop igniting. Any advice you or anyone else on your channel has would be appreciated... Thanks
Has to be auto ignition, best is to sell what you have and get one with it.
@@TeufelHundin1 thanks for your answer... 🙏
Any update for the PID Setup?
Do you have a video on that pid controller
Just starting up a new bussiness. Myself
I’m trying to figure out how to wiring the ssr in order to the pid send the signal to the ssr to get power to the burner?
I love your opening comment.. I want to ask if you can post a video on the controller. thx
how does it work so far ?
Works great, I can bring a 4X4X6 oven to temp in 10 minutes.
@@TeufelHundin1 How much fuel does it take per job?
4 months later.....................................................
Great video, very helpful 👌👍Any chance you made video on wiring the pid?
Would completely depend on the PID unfortunately.. But any pid with a 3amp controller built in or an external relay would work.
Can you provide any information on The PID you used and what exactly it is used to control? Is it just to turn the propane solenoid on and control the ignitor for X seconds?
