It was actually a good friend of mine who wrote this song. His name is Jamesy Gouldie and the man to then sing it on the first record was Michael Campbell.

Sing with me... ... If you remember this - made in 1970s: "I come from India to Belfast Town: Im darling handsome and my skin is Brown: I got no money but Im ready to work and I got me a House in GillNaaHurk" "Oh Belfast Belfast wonderful town - it doesnt matter if yer skin is brown: Oh Belfast Belfast ~ I love You; if your out of work ya can get da Bru" . . . .
Thank God you went to Liverpool ,this song is not for Bigots like you and your twisted mind ,stay there you belong there ,I stayed and so did proper Belfast people we didnt run like you coward
Juniors come to liverpool when the rebels thought they could overtake, to give them a more peaceful life. Once the rebels knew they were fighting a losing battle they returned to keep the red, white and blue over Ulster. UNITED WE STAND
A Brilliant song and a Great Tribute to The Families and Children who arrived in Liverpool in 1971 as Refugees being Burnt out of there Homes by Republicans A Great Mural in Respect to The Loyalists and All people of Liverpool both Protestant and Catholics who made these Children feel at home and safe. 40 years have past and memories will never be forgotten. This song I am sure will bring a tear to those who did return.Remembering The King Eddy and Orange Cross, 6 Counties British Forever

I was in the MN in the late eighties and on one ship I was posted to I joined at Garstan docks and there moored across from my ship was an all but mythical sight a KELLY COALER. So seen as I was the only one left onboard whilst all the officers and crew went ashore it being newyears eve I took leave of my watch and scuttled around to the Kelly boat, now you've got to remember I was only 16 years old but the look on them irish sailors faces when they saw what i'd brought with me well , that's a story for another time. Happy Times.
