Suppose Alolan Graveler weren't a Rock Pokemon and was hypothetically made of concrete or (non-iron) metal. If Rock and Steel were out of the typing, do you guys think Alolan Graveler would make an appropriate Electric/Fighting type? It gets into fights with its fellows and has bigger, stronger arms than its Kanto form, right? Speaking of which, I'm making a video about Kanto Graveler being a Rock/Fighting type. Awesome vid. I feel like Mega evolutions are what Pokémon should have been from the start. Even playing plated Version at 6 years old, I felt they should have been scarier, more monstrous creatures as opposed to cute and cuddly. I totally understand that Pokemon was initially geared towards young Japanese girls, but they quickly realized it was preteen-teenage boys who ended up completely taking to the Pokemon frenzy. At that point, I wish they had doubled down on the scary-monster aspect. More badass, Mega Rayquaza and Deoxys themed designs and less….whatever the crap Vanillux is.
