I was a gamer in the 70's and 80's I loved pong and the Odyssey 2 games, also on pc we had the Bard's tale one of the first good rpg's or text adventures like Zork.
I played games like this. They entertained at the time. But, honestly, they lack the immersion of later games. For me the peak of gaming was from the early 1990s to early 2000s. After that there's very little in the way of new ideas. At least in the AAA games. Indie games is a different story. These days it's all about better graphics, bigger worlds and online multiplayer. When you don't have the ability to do these things, as was the case in the 80s and 90s, then there is basically only two ways to ensure people keep coming back to the game. Make it fun or make it a challenge. Early games typically had very high difficulty compared to modern games.
With restraints and limitation,for memory part,there's a lot of imagination and awesome ideas. Today,without memory limitation creativity drops significantly.
@barbarianzg8826 exactly. 100% agree. Despite the fact I have a modern PC, I play older games mostly. What early game developers did within their constraints was mind-blowing. The fact an original Pentium PC could run Quake still astonishes me. Likewise its very impressive that Wing Commamder 1 could be done on a slow 386. And the BBC Micro that I used as a child had some of my favourite games

Exact location 1280m from Zero Point (that coral that sticks out from the sea) 1.9 clicks right from SW at 170m depth..then head N and you'll see small ravine and ahead an opening to go down. When going down just from the beginning of the crevice steer slightly towards the beginning of the crevice. Bring a sonar if you want..and its ezpz🥰🥓
