i was thinking i trained some 17YO kids how to play dayz on livonia, opened chiemsee, i lived on an island by myself, server got busy so i had to quit playing, invited my 'friends' to come take my organically looted stuff...and they called it epstein island lol

looked for the elbows not at their sides and a little bit outstreched, and their fingers curled. thats 'post aggro' its like when a zed knows generally where you are, changes behavior and starts 'jogging' towards you but not 'running' AT you. thats 'alerted' to you but not aggrod on you. if you leave the area, theyre alerted/post aggrod.

i have video of this on our channel. what you are saying is real, but in this case if it were happening to him, he wouldnt be able to switch to anything until after a relog.

No luck bro. He wasn't sticking to walls, he wasn't watching for zombs he wasn't crouching at all. He wasn't checking corners. Sloppy play style Which is easy to mess up because of the patience this game requires.

@@TheKadster as well as when you havent died for dozens of hours, and youre on the server with only like 6 ppl on, you start to think youre alone

As per WOBO Dayz has an extensive but slightly incoherent penetration system, if you can tag them you can kill them There is also a brain hitbox that instakills but I can't remember if it applies to things that aren't players, so theoretically you can one tap someone in the brain through a wall if the bullet goes through and pens enough

@@nerfgunner2327 this is the 20th time ive taken 2 minutes to try. technically im on minute 20, this session. looks like so far, the sounds of the notifs cannot be eliminated without turning off notifs within discord, which i cannot do

oh yeah, pretty sure thats all online games lol and some vids are of ppl not having enough time (dont know basic mechanics) or not having enough patience (early death, no planning)

@ I meant more in terms of camping for long periods of time. In another video, Tomato focused on a player scoping thru a window and said "this guy hasn't moved an inch in 90 minutes". I'd be bored to death in 15.

@@jeef96440506 ya, and he woudnt be bored. difference of playstyle. the best PvP player ive ever seen, my old teammate "Survivor 47" on youtube, told me regardless of his 10x pvp skill on me, his biggest enemy he could ever face is a patient camper like me. patience doesnt need 5 kills an hour. we just need 1 kill every 10 hours, and its all worth it to us.

some ppl find a base and stay there for hours waiting. others find a base and run right past, deleting it from their memory lol

@@jondavies if you look at the video posted before this one there is a dead body inside the base of the watchtower so I was looking at that alot...also when I got out of the car I noticed a semi agro zombie outside of the compound. I knew somebody was nearby forsure

@@awkwardkeith yeah it was obvious that you knew someone was near by but the point I was saying is you didnt really not look anywhere else of the villa at that specfic point. there was alot of other windows and areas to check of the villa and compound. anyway its all good it just appreaded wierd from a person watching, we obviuosly dont see the whole thing as the Admin was trying to spectate other players

ya ppl keep commenting about it but i dont know how to keep notifs on and stop them from being recorded. every time someone comments about this, i say ill change it if someone knows how, with Medal. regarding turning them off completely, i need to also manage the discord and im literally recording 100% of the time. 90% of the vids i record are useless and i never know when that 1 out of 10 vid is about to happen

@@TomatoKingRAW Yeah I dont use medal, not sure if its possible at all to just mute discord with it. Unless you can setup specific tracks to record like with OBS streamlabs. Maybe you can see if there is a way to record the game and microphone tracks/audio. Didnt realise you record 100% of the time, that makes it little harder becasue if it was just you record when you se action about to happen you could just simply mute discord for short period of time. Iether way the vids are pretty interesting to watch

@ Just soething I found on google, not sure if it helps at all. To mute Discord audio while recording with Medal, navigate to your Medal settings, go to the "Audio & Camera" section, and choose the appropriate audio input source for Discord, then either mute that specific input source or select "Game Audio Only" to only record in-game sounds and exclude Discord audio entirely. Key steps: Open Medal settings: Access the settings menu within the Medal application. Go to Audio & Camera: Select the "Audio & Camera" tab within the settings. Choose Discord audio source: Identify the correct audio input device that is currently set for Discord in your system settings. Mute or exclude Discord audio: Mute specific input: Select the Discord audio source and mute it directly within Medal's settings. "Game Audio Only" option: Enable the "Game Audio Only" setting to only capture game audio and exclude Discord voice chat.

wow i havent seen you in a while! i know youre only back bc you and your friends got banned AGAIN for cheating yesterday on a diff big server! i saw the admin proof...WILD! and yes i DID ban half my pop 10mo ago. youre taking a shot at my server pop that YOUR 14 man killed even tho we had a 5 man rule. ppl stop wanting to play a server when one team controls it w size. btw, remember when you said the server and this youtube will die bc of this? yt tripled in size, we now have 3 servers, and vid 133 (to catch a cheater) of you cheating is SO obvious that big servers are using that vid to train their admins. thx for staying salty for 10 months. stop cheating.

@TomatoKingRAW I honestly couldn't care less. I was inactive for over a year during this time so whatever they did is on them. I've never joined your server so I don't know who you think I could be.

@@MistakenMedia quite coincidental, the impeccable timing of this comment on an 8 month old video, and your knowledge of the pop on our server 8 months ago, as well as that same comment already made. but ill give the benefit of the doubt, i can definitely be wrong. but ya i banned the poison from our server that killed it in the first place. we were hitting queue every week before them. and after them, its almost all been success.

2 things... 1, THAT WAS HIS FIRST DAYZ KILL EVERRR! he dmd me after, he was so excited and scared 2, technically his shot counted as an 'indoor' shot so the sound is much more quiet. throws players off.

@@phenr1r ya. but you werent even concerned about it. so you must not have heard it the way it actually was in reality, or you would have reacted accordingly. it was on your same level. but 'indoor shots' sound different. hard to track.

@@Crimetvuk After watching these that was what me and my buddy took away. We saw how we got spotted when we were killed and it helped us change our play style so we die less

There’s some tricks that you pick up along the way but this is the first one: there’s always someone else around there and pushing those stairs is insanely dangerous anytime whatsoever. Also people logout there a lot so even if you push the stairs safely someone can log behind your ass lol

this is one of the reasons we chose chiemsee...no ones doing it well at all so if ppl wanna play this map as an official replica, they gotta come here ;)

@@TomatoKingRAW Just pointed it out cause I found it amusing. Figuring that was your intent and showing my enjoyment of your content. I kinda figured "laughing with" would be more appropriate term rather than "laughing at".

ya we launched this map hoping itd be better for YT so we gain more players for our servers and the vids def do better but to me...i feel like theres no 'investment' in the story so theyre not as fun for me to spectate. but its HELLA better to learn pvp, playing as well as watching.

@TomatoKingRAW I don't pretend to know any of the mechanics of it....... I'm so old I remember the excitement of watching colour TV for the first time! Watching your video it occurred to me that if non participating spectators had the ability to view the game as you do in Admin View it would just add another dimension. Of course having that ability live, could adversely affect players because they could also see what other players were doing. So a delay could be a workaround for live streaming spectators. I recently watched a UA-cam video where they filmed with a 360 camera and I was able to control the camera angle using my TV remote control. I can only imagine how much more interesting gaming videos would be if the viewer had that ability to watch and interact with the video using Admin View. Short intense tournaments would probably be a better format than long campaigns. Keep up the great work Brent Leave, Same or Better, Everything Be Kind ☮️🙋🏻‍♂️

@@kiwi_welltraveled4375 i wonder if this is possible for dayz. as far as i know, you cant have spectating abilities without being loaded into the game so you would have to have a pc, own dayz, and have your character physically in the server, with admin powers to go invis and god mode before being able to spectate. now i could always stream, but then theres the issue of doxxing players. these vids are 45 or more days old when they drop.

​@TomatoKingRAW do not disturb in Discord mutes that sound. Or if your fortunate enough to have hardware like a goxlr or simular you can change the channel on which the sound plays.

@@GasBrake ya i dont wanna turn off the notifs for me, i just wanna turn off the sound for the viewer. the nature of these vids is i can post 1 every 10 vids i record bc im not recording for entertainment, im recording for general 'before the house is on fire' investigating. the bi-product of me keeping a watchful eye over the servers is these videos. nothing happens more than you think, as well as me monitoring and running 2 other servers and 2 discords. i kinda cant just turn off notifs all the time.

@TomatoKingRAW i get it. Props to you for staying on top of things. I do the same for myself when playing on fiveM servers. Like a dash cam i can take to court with me. Changing the audio channel of discord sound would still route it to your headphones. Also maybe try GeForce experience for recording. You can set it to only record game audio. And it has less demand than medal. It doesn't audio upload tho. 😔

@@TomatoKingRAW It originated in pre Roman Germany, and started as a Pagan festival/celebration; spread around parts of Europe, still around today as a celebration of summer in various forms.

@@ed1998 NO WAY!! i love learning real world stuff about a fictitious video game map based on real world stuff! so cool. to think, probably a german, built this map and included that intentionally. i love it.

@@TomatoKingRAW I read somewhere, possibly in the comments on your channel, or elsewhere, that the map is based on a real German location. Just looked it up, and there is a big lake in Bavaria of the same name, and looks identical to the DayZ map

@@ed1998 ya if you google 'chiemsee germany' and then click images and then compare those images to chiemsee on izurvive.com...its not exact but city names are the same, roads/railways are very similar, they layout is similar, the 3 islands are almost exact...its pretty replicated with slight changes

i love these types of scenarios, almost couldnt write them any better
