Join me as I explore brass rubbing at St. Martin in-the-Fields, London. This video looks at the history, how to get there, getting set up, and the history behind the artwork. Ep. 1 GOT Podcast: Role Call of the Great Houses
Yes, this is Berlin. Rich of history
That's not the Close, that's the Cloisters. The Close is the large enclosed area of old houses surrounding the cathedral including Ted Heath's old house Arundels, the museum and parts of the Cathedral School.
Looks fantastic
So much fun🙌!!!
Amazing video 🙌🏴☠️
Thank you 🙌
Hello, looks like fun, we have weekly one here May through October.
So good!! 🙌⚡️
I love it.
Great video. FYI Warwick is pron. "Wahr-rick"; Beauchamp is pron. "Bow-chom(p)" But don't worry they're easy mistakes to make.
@@watermelonman3000 Thank you, I should have looked that up! Tune in for my next video where I use dosing rods at the Rollright Stones in the Cotswolds.
I love your video adventures. They’re the best way to learn about history!!! Great video🙌!!!
Thank you Laurie!! 🤙

Loved the video Sharon!!! ❤
Thank you!! 🤙
Some of my favourite people!
That was either a food utensil or some kind of weird trench reading weapon
I got a few of those as Well as two lighters
🍻
You can tell he's put the money back into the decor 😅
Oh the decor was cool!! (We were in a side room) check out next video that better shows the main rooms and outside tables. 👍 and… he is opening an actual pub in Buford!!
It’s the first Roman city
That's so amazing and I've always wanted to visit. If you haven't been to the museum, I posted photos, with a lot of Roman items on my Facebook page, facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=sharonfitzgerald.losangeles&set=a.8387076031322924
Colchester isn't the oldest place.. there's still plenty of pre Roman bits lying around. fun factoid.. chester refers to any Roman British town that had a wall around it.
That's so true. In fact, I started out my trip at Stonehenge and I am also going to the Rollright Stone, dating to 4000 BC, on Monday. BTW, I did not know that about the word chester, good to know, thanks!
Hello there!
Hi Todd, I have a lot more coming out tonight. Now, I am off to London to meet my friend. Cheers!
@@SharonFitzgerald Cheers!
Aww so cute
HI SHARON! Very KooL 😊
Thanks Todd!!
So what
¡Dos INMENSOS del buen rock! ♥️♥️✨🍷
Looks more like David bowey😊
Amazing 😊
Ahh the pit. Natures equalizer
Ah yes, the original Joe Brandon
Assuming those objects are legitimate, its a shame the patina has been polished away.
"Promosm" 💖
I have a video posting tonight on Trench art where I interview the historian who I bought it from Normandy France.
That is Sooo cool ! How much would something similar to that cost ? Just curious
That's really cool, took me a bit to realize it was a bullet
That’s amazing! What country’s soldier was responsible for that piece?
This particular piece was made by a German soldier with a bullet made in 1914.
@@SharonFitzgerald beautiful. Truly a work of art. This piece speaks on so many volumes. I couldn’t even imagine the perspective and experience he felt at that time let alone during all that chaos and fear he created something so elegant. Thank you for sharing! Subscribed
What caliber is the bullet?
It's a 30 caliber German bullet, stamped "1914 Code S" most likely for a Machine Gun called the MG 08/15. It was the standard light machine-gun of the German Army during the First World War. Look out for my videos on WWII relics and weapons coming up.
That’s pretty neat
Check out the relics found on Omaha Beach during D-Day - that video is coming up.
