In this tournament I wanted to maintain top control over my opponents and slowly approach the submission. I made several mistakes abandoning the position, luckily I was able to reverse and get the finish.

Sadly the friend that was recording me didn't send me the whole fight. At the end, I won by arm triangle. Was my first no-gi tournament. Sorry for the awful quality.

Hi guys, this is my first win in a BJJ tournament called Mexico Open. What do you think of the combination of kouchi-gari and kuchiki-taoshi?. I won by ude-garami from the lockdown in half guard. Hope you like it.

History: When i first started playing MGS INTEGRAL for the PSONE i watched a cinematic video in which snake makes a spinning kick, later on i discovered a way to actually do it in the game. Still don't know what happend. I was cleaning the terrarium and i turn on the heat bulb for get light and suddenly he was trembling from his torso and the back of his legs, also the front legs was paralize. I turn off the light and everything goes back to normality. He is 0k right now. Only for information; he is eating very good, never givme any trouble and he is very healthy.

I had the privilege and honor to training and had a randori on newaza with him, back on January,1980, at the Budokan Gymnasium in Tokyo. He was much heavier than on his competition's times. Great memories never faded away! OSU!

His half guard pass is so awesome. I never knew that before. I had a lot of difficulties with passing and never knew the proper way to do it.

yeah, it's too hot for him. If you are gonna install a heating source try to put it on one part of the terrarium. That way he can decide if he wants a colder or hotter spot.

Brilliant insight into a time of Judo and Martial Arts lost with time. Can’t help thinking Doug sounds a lot like Clint Eastwood in this too! 😂. RIP Doug, exceptional Judoka and Kimura who was simply the judo GOAT.
He also looks so much like Val Kilmer I think…

柔道の３大ビッグタイトルは、五輪、世界選手権、全日本選手権での優勝だと言われています。そのすべてで優勝した選手は現在まで8人しかいません。そのうち７人は重量クラスの選手ですが、この岡野選手だけが唯一中量クラスの選手として成し遂げています。

I count myself lucky that my Judo Club focuses on the newaza game as much as tachi waza. It also doesn't hurt getting those bjj guys and gala coming through to train during open mats. This video is amazing.
