Restaurants are private establishments, business owners can have you removed for trespassing. Cops were actually pretty professional in this scenario.

The guy is wrong. The restaurant is a private property and can have him removed for ANY reason. That sucks but it is the law. Not enough context here to make a really informed decision, but just from this, the guy is in the wrong.

Yea, if the restaurant or establishment wants him off their premises he can be removed by law enforcement. If the restaurant violate a human right or something along that nature and discriminate against him he could sue in civil court. He still needs to leave and can be trespassed for any reason.
