Speed is one of the greatest action movies ever. It’s kinda underrated. Watched it a few months back. It’s suspenseful, well directed and Keanu’s chemistry with Bullock is undeniable. It took the advent of stunts to thrilling heights considering most of it was done with practical effects unlike today’s action movies that rely on too much CGI wizardry. Speed is the epitome of an original action movie. The pinnacle of blockbuster entertainment and a fine piece of 90s cinema.

Keanu and Sandra are both 60. Isn’t that wild. 30 years ago you would never see a 60 year old person looking so youthful, and for that record, no, it’s not all about “money” or cosmetic surgery. It can absolutely help, but saying that’s the sole reason they look the way they do isn’t true.

Fun Fact: Jan De Bont was the original choice to direct the first American Godzilla film Godzilla 1994. He was extremely passionate about the project and even had the legendary Stan Winston mold a Godzilla model for the film. Sadly, Mr De Bont had a falling out with Tristar over creative and budget reasons. It would evolve into the Roland Emmerich Godzilla 1998 film. Jan De Bont still considers Godzilla 1994 as the one that got away as he himself was a fan of the character. The script is available online.

Idk the main girls name...but ever since pt. 2 I've found her beautiful...and I don't usually deal with women of the Caucasian persuasion. Howeverrrr... I find her face and body to be extremely exotic. Her eyes and ..... yeaa...I'll stop but... SHEESH. this is her first film orrrr? Prior to T2 id never seen any of these actors before......::: sidebar:: who brings a frikkin newborn to a Q&A of this magnitude...I mean its a freshly new iconic horror movie with the POTENTIAL to go down in history...yet instead... you make it all about you and your baby....sitting almost front row ...taking away this experience from all the fans and the directors/actors their moment.. cuz you're too lazy or selfish to bring a friend who can watch the baby elsewhere... Or THE RIGHT ANSWER... you couldn't just sit this one out...knowing your "support system" is so non existent...you couldn't find someone to stay home with your newborn. NO.... you can't do that ...cuz IT'S NOT ABOUT THE THOUSANDS OF FANS and the work these people put into this tremendously awesome movie...No it's about MOMMY and baby having it their way and robbing everyone of their potential to have the best experience possible... ::exhalesssss:: 😤😤

SPEED is the closest you’ll ever get to another “Die Hard”, with an equally original concept going for it! Love this film ♥️ I would also LOVE for them to retcon the sequel, and then do a true Legacy-Sequel, bringing back Keanu Reeves with Sandra Bullock!
