James has changed a lot in the past 4 years. I enjoy these old videos when he seems like such a kid. But I enjoy his more recent videos just as much. He just keeps gettin better n better. Can't wait for a new album, and hopefully a visit here to the U.S. Really need to see him live.

I just watched Alex's version, but oh my gosh, how can anyone even compare him to James? His version is so poorly. This guy can't even stand in James's shadow, it was that bad. That don't mean he can't sing, I only watched that one song so I can't judge him all together, I am sure he has talent. But he can in no way be compared to James, James blows him away!

I didn't know who James Morrison was, but they kept comparing Alex LAmbert to him. Some similarities. But Alex has such a distinctive voice--shades of early Rod Stewart. Alex's voice is superlative.

Ok WOAH!!! back up...people are way to serious and critical about this. Calling me names for having an opinion. For one I am not tone deaf & have been in choir and plays for years. I am not giving all of the credit to Alex he is not perfect & I know he did not write the song. I only said that he deserves some credit for his performance of it, I like his voice & felt it more than this version of it. I like James I just feel I feel it more with Alex than this performance. My right to think so.

Great song and artist and actually Alex on idol performed it better and with more passion than this performance, but of course I cannot judge them all.

@idolstar1 dry/flat lacks range? This alex dude can't even hit half the notes Andrew does. Overhyped? overhyped is that casey dude, but either way I'll be bumping Andrews music wether he wins idol or not, and one things for sure he has more talent on his pinky than all of the idol contestants.
