Nice video, we hope to visit Gdańsk in the Spring from , Connecticut, USA.

Oxford is our favourite Englsih city yet. What a beautiful place to visit. Easy to reach from London for a day trip but also well positioned to carry on to The Cotswolds with great villages like Burford on the doorstep.

Hello! Great information, looking at doing this route next year. I was planning on travel hand luggage only with just a 30L ‘under seat’ backpack, were you able to keep this with you in your seat? I’d have a laptop in my backpack (probably without a proper case, just in a pocket) and wouldn’t really want it getting squashed in a pile of other backpacks! Thanks!

You do not need any public transport change to reach Main Town (Długa Street) or Old Town from airport. The bus #210 delivers you to Hucisko bus stop, then walk 300 meters to Golden Gate and Długa street. Ticket costs 4.8 PLN (1,1 €)

There is no Blue Gate in Gdańsk, particulary at Długa street end

Great city to visit, we'd advise allowing at least 2 full days. If you want a great agenda for a trip to Poland then why not try Krakow, Gdansk and Warsaw. 2 interesting but different cities.

Hi Couldn't agree with you more. I was The Edge last November/December on a repositioning cruise from Rome to Sydney. Yes, it has it's flaws, poor prior information re port locations, whether taxis are available in ports. Info on dress code etc. However, these are minor criticism when compared to the cruise as a whole. The biggest asset to the ship is Giuseppe and Capt Matt Their people skills are above excellent. They made the cruise great Food excellent, shows in the theatre as good as in London or New York. Cleanliness wow Design of ship. Art pieces especially pearl ship piece top floor of the atrium. Le Petit Chef. The design of the theatre. The magic carpet. The art pieces in the rooms. The chocolates on the pillows. The design and size of the bathrooms. My Edge holiday was so enjoyable I booked a cruise with Celebrity to Alaska in June and a second to Japan later this year

We went from Langkawi too in February with our 3 kids. Loved the longtail transfer boat in, such a fun way to be introduced to island life lol. And the immigration office on the beach, in the sand 👌Definitely will be easier with the 3 kids now that we’ve done it and the kids know to expect some waiting. Lol. We can’t wait to go back next yr 👌

I am going on my 1st cruise ever Alaska...can you carry bottle water in main luggage..would i really need wifi ...i will be with others that did pay inadvance for it....will there be dress up dining or i saw you said wearing white i think it may be little chilli in July...but i am excited
