This genuinely is the best version of the story I've seen so far, I 100% prefer this one than the original! Great job! Funny idea but, what if you were able to make a sonic creepypasta game to go along with this? I mean to go along with the end saying "Here's the link, go wild", sort of how there are games now for pendrive and a few other stories If you end up going that route, it'd be really cool to see that, but if not it's still perfect as is! Seriously, amazing job!

Yo I’ve been doing slow dev on a game of this and so far I only have the title screen a question, if a Tom’s link was real, would the game take you to green hill if you kept playing as knuckles? Would he go to green hill? Or would the game crash?

I think round 2 is gonna experiement more with the premise of taking their souls and putting it in the game, it would be cool seeing Tom actually be stuck in the game due to his foolishness to play the game.

ok im only at Entry #3 so far but honestly im genuinely intrigued at this retake of the story, right off the bat the way the tone for this was set just sets it apart from other version of the demon rodent, instead of there being any signs of the game being haunted or possessed by anything, it's just a sort of creepy and mysterious 4chan post that took the internet by storm and the OP of the creepypasta rather than being someone who accidentally found this game in his mailbox one day, is instead this myth hunter who was actively searching for the mystery for 3 whole years with a friend of his, i also would like to point the way the creepypasta was segmented into entries/parts instead of being one long page unlike it's source material. one more thing i like to mention is probably the little over arching mission of the OP's friends trying to salvage a link to help further the search for other people to decrypt the game which is neat and also adds to the whole idea of this being an ongoing mystery in my opinion. :] also wanted to point how it's pretty fitting that *"hill."* is just called hill because the game is unfinished so it actually makes sense. edit - holy fu

Ngl, this new version is really good Because he didn’t just deliver himself and play with his food He took his time with his victim, which just shows how much more patient he is with his victims, keeping them guessing and playing around but still knowing when it’s time to stop playing, and controlling his victims, aswell as he didn’t just say “I am god” but in a way said it in a much more effective way Just shows just how much control he has and I like the designs of his forms

Can’t believe the news stories are saying this Sonic.exe thing resurfaced 6 years later after 2011. So basically the first incident was in 2011 as said by the UA-cam Page, but somewhere in January of 2017 the download link to the dubious “Sonic” game was found and people started distributing it and playing it, and dying to this monster’s psychological warfare. Including spawning a death cult. I mean, the Realism is Insane! A Fangame from the mid 2000s that people thought was an early prototype eventually spawned viral challenges which is scarily realistic. Keep at it! You’re cooking absolute cinema so far!

I love this, while I still prefer what sonic.exe has become (thanks to the efforts of Joedoughboi) this story is just SO much better, I love how X is portrayed here, and on top of that? the drowning music did NOT need to go that hard bro. One last edit: Im so glad the keffka laugh was used, even if only once.
