I can say that Mario Party 6 is one of the best games in the series, and on the mic, there is a whole separate mode for it, so the mic is not needed. Also you can just play those mini games without the mic

Superstars was the ultimate nostalgia-bait. But since I already had some of the older titles, I prefer launching those to experience the nostalgia, which hinders Superstars from being the best in the series to me. The lack of unique character colors also didn’t do it for me.

0:57 The mic's purpose was for a few select 1v3 games. The mic actually worked pretty well but due to its limited use it's mostly ignored and you can turn off using it in general. It was a pretty fun one overall due to the day/night mechanics of the boards. Probably give it a 7/10.
