The reaction channel was fun but it’s not something I could commit to.
girl you are so beautiful omg
👌
Congratulations on the soft reveal! London restaurant look 2good I want to try carribean one day
W vlog. Looking forward to the (more) regular vlogs. Btw that little yap session towards the end really hit home. 'Not uncomfortable enough to change but it’s gonna get worse in a couple years'. Damn we don’t wanna think about that now cause it’s still in the future but thinking about that future is scaring us now 😭 Let’s all just start cooking and become chefs 👨🍳
Haha I’m really gonna try this year🤞🏾😅 And yes, the key is finding contentment whilst continuing to strive for more!
Thats a lot of work, filming, editing, etc etc. 👏
It is but I enjoy it! 😊
Happy Sunday 😊🫶🏾 Back with another London vlog. Have an amazing week x
The uk has mass gang rapes hight levels off mass stabbings it’s very dirty streets and beaches it dosent even come close to Australia and never will it’s a dump true facts it’s discusting yuk enjoy the uk
I like video! Thank you beingbett also can you do a video on what dating is like in londonn? I want to see what is like !
I’m contemplating literally this
Thank you for these videos, they’re very helpful for someone contemplating moving over there
Thank you for the feedback, I’m happy to hear they’re helpful 😊
Personally I enjoy these reflective videos because I often discover new things that may have happened to me as well, but I never really gave much thought to before. I’m not as self reflective as some others but when I hear or watch these kinds of videos I find myself actively reflecting on some of my past choices or experiences. As for the fruit and veggies: Yes, when I lived in Portugal they were 10 times better than the ones I can get here in Germany. Btw which field or sector do you work in since you mentioned healthcare? I’m currently doing my master’s degree in Managed/Integrated Care after completing my bachelor’s in Healthcare Management
Thanks for letting me know ☺️ I’m glad they’re helpful and I’m not out here blabbing into the ether for no reason 🤣 I’m guessing Germany doesn’t get as hot as Portugal? I’ve noticed that warmer climates often have better tasting fresh produce. I work in a pathology lab as a scientist! That’s quite a specific degree choice you’ve made. Are most people in Germany are content with the level of healthcare available?
@ True! In warmer and tropical countries like Portugal u can get much better fruits and veggies. It’s a difference like night and day. Yes, generally speaking, most people in Germany are quite happy with the quantity and quality of healthcare available. However this satisfaction leads to frequent use of healthcare services (Germany has one of the highest rates of doctor visits) as our statutory health insurance covers almost everything. This system is also very nontransparent so most people are not aware of how much they are costing the state. Additionally they don’t care much because they don’t have to pay significant amounts out of pocket (moral hazard problem). In Germany, the healthcare system still follows a traditional model where different sectors are separated from each other. There is no cross-sector care and only limited interdisciplinary or interprofessional collaboration. This results in unnecessary duplicate examinations, interface problems, longer waiting times, etc., all of which significantly contribute to rising healthcare costs. My masters program is designed to be future-oriented and aims to find solutions to the problems mentioned above so that the quality of care can be maintained or even improved while reducing healthcare expenditures. Btw sorry for my longggg answer 💀
I’ve always thought of Germany as being super progressive and technologically advanced, so I’m really shocked that your system is behind on that front. The healthcare system in the UK is really behind as well. The wait times for GP appointments are so shocking to me! They’ve even started having pharmacists take some appointments to help compensate-wild 🫠😆 All the best with your project!
Brizzy, where tf have u been
😂😂😂😂 The reaction channel was fun but it wasn’t me ☺️
Happy 2025! 🎉 🥳Starting the year with a reflective video. I’d love to hear your thoughts 💬 if you enjoy it. Wishing you all an incredible year ahead x
Need some more vids 😮

Hello
Christmas markets are always such a vibe especially when it snows a bit. That being said steak well done all the wayyy since I can’t convince myself to try it when it’s still red inside 😂
So you’re really out here disrespecting chefs😂😂😂
@ I just can’t 😂😭
How I’ve just found your channel after thinking about moving to UK from Brisbane for study. I’m a bit overwhelmed with all the different factors to think about. What were the first steps you took to get the process going? Also I love the way you edit your vids so far :)
Thank you! ☺️ I didn’t move over for study, so your path will probably be slightly different from mine. If I were in your position, I would first apply to a university and make sure I have an offer. Then I’d apply for a Youth Mobility Visa or whichever visa will allow you to study (and work, should you need to). Once that’s all approved, I’d book my flights and start looking for accommodation. Some universities have accommodation onsite, so definitely check that out. The UK rental market is LITERALLY survival of the fittest, and it’s even worse as a student. Rental agencies usually require proof of income, a UK guarantor, or the ability to pay several months’ rent upfront The few people I know who have studied abroad in the UK did so as part of their university degree, meaning most things were organised for them by their “home” university. I know the process can be super overwhelming, but you’ll get there if you stay patient and tackle one task at a time. All the best with your planning ☺️
@ Hey, thank you. This gives me some more guidance 😊
Thank you for the video for giving ease for us solotravellers :)) I'll be there next week
Just Incase people think you dont have a wide spread audience, i wanna let you know i am a nineteen year old kid in Western Australia who loves your content because it inspires me to get out my home town and to differennt areas in the world like london one day hopefully 🌍🌍
This really made me smile 🥹 I’m happy you find the content helpful!

When did you go? I’m thinking of doing my first solo trip to Prague this second week of December! I love this vlog btw very helpful!! 😆
Hey girl, I was there from 4th - 7th of December! Enjoy your trip x
hii im also doing my first solotrip next week to Prague, is it safe to stay at hostels?
@@iremsezer34 I found the people in Prague welcoming and I never felt unsafe. I stayed in a mixed dorm in Luma Terra Prague hostel and had a great experience. Wherever you book just be sure to read the reviews thoroughly. Have a great trip x 🎄
The first is the best In London wow
Thank you so much bett very much apperiate it
You’re welcome 😊
I pay 1500. But ive been here since 2017. Our landlords are amazing. Only put it up 1500 this year. Other wise were paying 1250 for a 2 bedroom. 10 min walk from northern line tube station. I wish more landlord were like this where they're renting not for profit. My landlord purchased for their disabled son when hes an adult so it was never a money making property. They only ask enough to cover mortage and services and insurance.
I’m an estate agent in London and you have no idea how lucky this space is for 1500… in southeast, this is going up for at least 1700. I know I got clients that would pay more like 1900 for this. It’s wild out here fr
Renting in London is intense but this is a lovely place. I currently live in Hove, East Sussex and we pay £1500 for a 2 bed. I grew up in London and thinking of moving back but the quality and price adjustment is shocking 😢
Hack - Cross the channel in a rubber dingy and you get free accommodation - simples! - love the video!
Helpful tips thank u 🤝
You’re welcome 😊
Great video 🎉 I’ll be there in one mont . İs it too cold ? 😊
helloo geçen hafta sırbistandaydım, çook soğuktu, bence orası daha da soğuktur ben de haftaya gidecegim ins
Do you drive?
Thanks for the video Bett. Interesting subject.
Glad you liked it ☺️
Hi! Thanks for sharing this amazing video! Could you recommend a hotel, please?
I stayed in a hostel - Luma Terra Prague. It was a good distance from the centre and quite modern. Enjoy your trip x
Yh this man are really trying to rob your money 🥷 Cause literally what do you mean I am paying $19 great British Pounds to look into a mesium
In terms of jobs, i have a degree & everything, but do you think it's possible for a foreigner to find work within a couple of months.
It depends what field you’re looking to work in. It can be really competitive here. I have some friends who struggled for months to find work in their field and have ended up doing odd jobs in other fields. Don’t let that deter you though, just apply even before you move. I work in healthcare and was able to secure a role 3 months before I moved.
@beingbett thanks so much for the info. I work in arts & entertainment. I don't mind odd jobs. It can be hard to get those jobs here, so I didn't know that was an option. Loved your video!
The only other hurdle with trying to get a job before moving over is the companies need evidence of your right to work which is usually through your visa. I think you can access your visa online from December 2024 but previously you had to pick it up from a post office once you arrive in the UK.
I love that you do solo travel. Thanks for sharing! I’m going in November. Any tips for staying warm when seeing the outdoor sights?
This is exciting - it’s such a beautiful time to visit! 💗 I’d recommend you layer up - thermal tops / pants are a must. The one thing I struggled with was my extremities getting cold so it’s worth investing in quality gloves and socks + boots. Maybe even touchscreen gloves if you’ll be using your phone a lot. European winters are no joke 😭 Hope you have a great trip x
Great video Bett. Having travelled to Lindos solo a few times now, it’s always great to see the village from somebody else’s perspective. Good to see you enjoy yourself and not afraid to explore what the village has to offer x
You're so beautiful and you will do well. All the best to you!
I'm moving from Melbourne, Aus to the UK in 6 months, so this is all helpful to see, thank you ☺️
Hahah I am going here tdy
Beautiful angel
Get yourself upto Scotland best place about😏
Fucking hell my mortgage on a 3 bedroom house costs less than renting that first place. MOVE OUT OF BIG CITYS
A sofa bed is a positive???? What is going on with the world?
Lovely vid. Going solo in Rhodes in 2 weeks too.
Love London, miss ma prawn cocktail chrisps and me curry goat rice an peassss. Wagwaaaan
Im salty everytime I use the trains in the UK, they are silly expensive its annoying. If you get chance try go visit some places up North like York. Its a beautiful city. Also Manchester is awesome if you like a night out
amazing. I hope you enjoy & embrace the UK. It can be awesome (except the weather)
Rent in London is a joke as wages as not raised in years so your basically 😮 here on the planet to work yourself to dead paying bills 1400 should be 1 to 2 bedroom anything over 2000 should be a house in north London who wants to sleep in a kitchen thats what government allowing these greedy dumb landlords where that sofa was a table and chair to eat should be there as realistic Uk don't think like that
