I bought the same bumper from offroad, the description mentioned it would fit a 2019 Jl wrangler, the winch plate did not align,. I Believe it's meant for the previous style, it required modification. Now I'm dealing with the same clearance issues for the winch.
I just did this combo yesterday on my Gladiator. This video made it super easy! Took 8.5 hours including the box mod. You can't remove the front winch bolts without taking the bumper shell off. To take that off, the fog lights come out. A wratcheting box 16mm makes the overrider bar install not so bad. My winch plate and a fog bracket got a little tweeked in shipping. I used a dead blow mallet to straighten the fog bracket and the winch plate front frame mounts straightened up when bolting the cover on.
New shoes look good.

I just put this same combo on my 2020 JLU. It was quite the job and took about 6 hours all together. The winch control box rests against the very bottom of the grill a bit, might rub a bit of paint off but I'm not worried about it.
What did you do for license plate lights?

Thanks for taking the time to make this video; I am researching molle panels for my JT and this really helped. How are you liking these panels after about of month of use? These seem to be the most affordable solution, but require the most effort to install...and I am not so good with the nut cert tool.
I'm torn between the Venator and the Arcus.
They're both good, but I didn't like the "wings" on the venator.
@@Stazi75 I agree, they make a stubby version but I feel like it’s a little too plain. The Arcus seems like the right blend of looks, simplicity and weight. I’m trying to avoid adding too much weight to the front of my Mojave. I don’t want to mess with the handling or suspension characteristics too much.
With your splash guard, did you reinstall it? I’m having trouble re-installing my OEM splash guard on my gladiator.
The Willys/Sport splash guard won't fit. I left it off. It's also wider than this bumper anyway so It would look weird, IMHO.
I have the same winch and I love it. Also, I love the Arcus bumper’s looks, but what put me off was the single bolt connection for the over rider bar. I don’t trust those bolts will stand up to any kind of impact with the over rider bar acting as a fulcrum and leverage against the single bolts. To me that bar is strictly cosmetic and maybe to mount some lights. I may consider that bumper in the future if they redesign the way the bar mounts up to the winch.
The overider bar, I believe is just minimal protection for the winch and more useful as a mounting platform for auxiliary lights etc. I agree that if you were to hit an animal like a der with it, ti would probably break.
I have the same bumper/winch combo. I love it. I wish I would have seen your video before my install. I ended up taking the control box off and relocating it under the hood. It gives the winch a much smaller profile but leave the rope exposed to the sun.
Dude After installing the mini in my 2023 Xtreme Recon, reading the instructions from Z automotive, multiple times, and watching any videos. I was still left with two questions. So you’ve delivered me from the unknown. Thank you very much for this video. Out of all of them that I have watched, and that has been many, and every single one made by Z automotive no one, but you could shed light on these two details for the off-road menu. I had the hardest time installing this bumper. Nothing lined up properly. I also had the same problem with my grill. It’s so tight with the winch. I used an Openroad winch and the wires come out of the back.
Sorry to hear you had issues with the bumper. I guess I was lucky as I didn't have any fitment issue with the bumper itself. The overall results was excellent, and when you take a variety of aftermarket parts and try to put something together, you often will run into issues. I hope that you were able to resolve them in the end and I appreciate your feedback to my video!
@@Stazi75 yes I did get it installed. I have not run the wiring for the fog lights yet as I’m trying to figure out the best way to attach them to the inside of the bumper. The bumper looks great aside from a few scratches and dings on the powder coat which seems to come off easily. Seems like a sturdy bumper.
Is it possible to get a winch cover on it?
Great video! I was racking my brain trying to figure out how in the world to get that bumper on with the winch wiring pushing into the grille. Wish me luck drilling the new hole. Thanks also for the tip on the hole location. I even considered returning the bumper or the winch but really didn't want to have to do that. I also really like the combination of the 12K Apex and this RR Arcus bumper that don't break the bank.
I think I might upgrade my fog, lights and buy a new harness, save a little trouble

You may want to enlarge the winch cable hole to fit a grommet there to seal the hole or just wipe some RTV around it .
