This is awesome 👍🏿
A beer in one hand and my pistol in the other. Life is good. 😃
LOL! Yet another good reason to work on the grip.
As soon as the bad guy lays hands on - or resist the owner- it is not theft . It is robbery! you can use deadly force to resist Robbery day or night!
That is not true in all states. Deadly force is only authorized against an aggravated robbery (usually a weapon involved or some other legal factors) in many states.

Benchmade saved SOG's Ass , I really never liked SOG and I thought that they where gonna go under but when Benchmade didn't renew the Copy Rites on their Axis Lock , SOG jumped on it and came out with a few really good designs using their version of the Axis lock and a lot of people , including me , bought them and SOG has been doing pretty good ever since. I bought the SOG Seal XR as soon as it hit the shelves and its Still going strong , they did a great job on their S35VN I was very impressed. Hats off to them for being able to pull their Company out of the Shitter and make some quality knives ....🫡 👍 🖖
Thanks!
I've been watching this channel's shorts for like an hour. This one hurt my ribs
Dude, I gonna play that song every time I get a new knife
My M5 has grown on me over time. It fits my large hands really well and the knife is very versatile. It’s not particularly great at any one thing but it can do a lot of things reasonably well. And the Sleipner steel has impressed me as well. It’s definitely an upgrade over my 1095 blades. I think it’s on par with A2. Definitely not as good as 3V though. My only complaint is the sheath but I bought the version that comes with the nylon sheath. Good call getting the version that comes with a leather sheath. I will probably end up buying a leather sheath for mine.
GPKnives has Kydex sheaths for the M5 👍🏽
There some guy named mike from central texas gun works that teaches ltc classes and he has a video online telling people you can use deadly force to protect property at night time in Texas that man setting people up for failure no jury will let you go bro
I disegree mister If knife canot handle patoning den the knife is shit..
Warning shot? That's fancy speak for negligent discharge! Ammo is expensive .. if I draw.. you will bleed. Otherwise, why draw? If you draw and don't shoot, a case can be made you were not in fear for your life.
The behavior of the bad guy could change between the draw and shots being fired. The entire point is to stop the bad behavior. If me starting to draw makes the bad guy rethink their life choices then that is a win.
@@papimaximus95 If I'm in the jury.. I'm not going to convic you.. but my thought is still that if you draw and don't fire.. then you never really was in fear for your life. What I'm left with is you intimidating by show of arms. Another name for this is called "brandishing".
@@cpvsgvmnt2116 Whom ever taught or told you that is mistaken The OLD misconception you draw you better fire is not a good practice especially if by having justification to pull a firearm in defense and the threat stops then that is the intent to stop the threat not shoot or kill. Warning shots are illegal for various reasons as they can be a danger to others that are not the threat. Here's a video you should watch to show the point ua-cam.com/video/sIWPPOzLwNU/v-deo.html
I love the Kore essentials x5 edc belt. Works great with my edc for the past 3 years, a Canik Tp9sfx aiwb. Good content, brother
Thanks for sharing
That's not a tanto! At least not in my book. More like a modified drop point.
That is the name on the box.
Happy birthday Jesus
What's wrong with USA made knives?
Nothing. I have reviewed several SOG knives made in the USA.
What lame testing.
It is a UA-cam short. It is not a test...just knife cuts. What would you like to see?
I love this knife. I prefer this blade shape for duel use tactical and survival . The tanto is not a super aggressive tanto. Has a slight rounded edge which I like. Stays on my battlebelt or plate carrier
bfd
I like sog but i feel like they are overpriced for what you get.
They have quite a few budget friendly collections. One of my favorite camp knives is the SOG Tellus FX which is only about $40 on the street.
ill be singing this all night....
Thought about teying a few pf these for cover smoke, but that looks a bit thin....
It was windy that day. These are the smaller ones. They do make some larger ones. I will try to review those as well.
That’s a badass knife but.. it’s selling for $275 before tax and shipping fee’s on KnifeCenter. That’s too much money for a knife with a blade length under four and a half inches. I get it, it’s got high quality blade steel. There’s a lot more options out there for that kinda money.
Thanks. You can get it for 20% off pretty consistently. It is USA made and from a tactical/First Responder/LEO/MIL perspective the length is perfect.
@@papimaximus95 where you seeing it 20% off at?

"register of the firearm" dang, if I heard that correctly, it's what I use about where your booger hook goes. Know where the muzzle is pointing know your target and ready to go to fire, hit, hit, recover, observe, maybe hit hit again. I'm going to disagree with #4 "always keep your firearm unloaded till ready to use" When I have to use a firearm, even jumping and grabbing or opening up the safe for my queens, they are ready and I don't have to do jack other than find the target and hit. I can point and tell someone where a sidearm is -- there will be one in the pipe with full mag w/ spare or full cylinder with the stripper with it. Short story, friend showing off his son's new 1911 platform (commander size) brought it over. He said it was unloaded and showed me. Zero ammo, I asked why, he just wanted to show me it. Expensive ass paper weight and shitty ass club. Yea, I checked clear too, then found out that was a sweet trigger. He was surprised I could drop the slide release on an empty mag to get it into battery to feel the trigger. I've taught him other things too. Long arms are a different story. That depends on platforms.
No worries. You define ready to use as you see fit.
@@papimaximus95 I don't have kids running around the house these days, and my wife knows the condition of all of her weapons which is the same as mine. It would be different if young'uns were around, though. Many wouldn't even be staged. Just thought of a subject that many don't bring up -- constant carry -- wake up pants, pistol, boots then coffee, everyday, till bed time; that's for me, wife doesn't and that's fine. 😂If I'm sitting here banging out a comment, I do so armed. My pistol hasn't gotten angry and shot my comp 👀I'm keeping an eye on it doe. Another person's thoughts on that would help keeping me/us thinking. Thank you on that end.
Yippee Ki-Yay MFer. As to material, Roger that.
Lost me at China. Good review, though.
Thanks. Yeah, I hear you. Unfortunately, It is the reality of the world.
Any link to purchase those two belts that you like? I hate buckles.
Double Alpha Academy and Safariland.
Have you had any CZ models that are comparable to the Sig P320? And why do you prefer the Sig? I have never owned either brand but I do love S&W M&P 2.0 in 9mm and 40 cal
Never had any CZ models. IMHO, SIG is one of the most proven combat pistols ever made.
Probably yes. I just got the Tanto recently, it’s amazing. Threw an ulticlip on there and it’s my edc
Thanks. Yes, it is a beast.
Good basic analysis of the knife's features. I love your laid back, conversation style, and less the pushy picky kind of thing most youtuber's are pulling off, so totally stay that way :) I believe those clip screws are meant to be tightened up after you pick a preferred wearing angle. It's clearly a shackly clip though, probably not a fan of the clip design either way. Good overall pricing, likely need own clip.
Thank you...I appreciate the feedback!
You're welcome! The key thing is to be honest, simple, and unique. Most youtubers are basically gay because they all duplicate each other.@@papimaximus95
I'm more on the daily driver to light bushcraft cycle these days but I'm diggin' that reassuring "snap" on that sheath.

In anticipation of your future F.A.Q. video 😉, why the name 'Papi Maximus' ? 😜
You are the first to ask that...simply means "World's Greatest Dad" like on one of those Father's Day mugs but everything sounds cooler in Latin.
Well done sir.
It’s wild to me that he couldn’t use deadly force until after four dudes are on top of him beating on him. The way I currently see it, if someone is committing a felony against you, it should be legal to use deadly force against them when no other options are available to retrieve or maintain your property without risking your own life. I get the whole “life is more important than property” idea, but taking something that may be someone’s livelihood (car, computer, etc.) seems like they should be allowed to protect it with their life.
Either way great video, you answered many questions I had regarding 9.42/9.43
I just got the fixed blade fx for 20 bucks at pallet store
Wow! $20 bucks is a steal!

I encourage the use of airsoft for training. 😂Pissed my wife off using the tv for GO, NOGO training. The old tv 35", don't think I'd even try on the LCD. Those new to firearms, can practice safety as well as just hitting. Can be done most anywhere, less expensive than shooting at the range, and make range time much more productive. Have a decent friend or group you can do "bb gun wars", hurts less than most bb guns.
Agreed!
Well done, Papi. Followed you here from ASPExtra. Keep it coming!
Thank you....much appreciated!

Let me guess, you must be from the "good-ole USA." Only a fellow American could favor the .30-30 Springfield over the .303 Lee-Enfield.
I gave an honorable mention to the Enfield.
