Those tunas were massive! For me, sea trout fishing was quite good this year. But mackerel was a complete disaster. I could not catch any around Göteborg. But we still have a season open for sea trout till 30th of September, here so if you will be here visiting family or for another business and want to join for some sea trout fishing, just let me know!

Was snorkeling at Solviken beach, Mölle last 6day and saw 4 sea trout, about the size you got. They were located at the margin where bare rocks end and sea cabbage starts to grow. Literally 10m from bank and maybe waist deep, and quite close to swimming bridge with lots of people in water.

What is this place?

I do have a question, me and my boys who are very inexperienced fisherman did this on a kahawai or australian salmon, but we may have gotten it wrong, the mouth was still making a gulping motion and at first the fish was still having some pretty drastic spasms. keep in mind this was a pretty decently sized fish, is this indicative of the fish still being alive? or is a bit of spasming and flopping normal. just want to know if we did fuck it up so we can learn from it, would hate to know that we put it through any unnecessary stress.

This is how my grandfather did it . With catfish he would use a mallet to get the knife thru quickly
