I moved out on my own at 17. My parents had 8 boys 2 girls in a tenement flat. I wanted my own bed and bureau. I didn't think of all the things I had to take care of myself like laundry. Not many people had washing machines in apartments in 60s. I couldn't be bothered separating laundry and an older lady saw me trying to cram everything in one washer. She came over told me to move and sorted it for me. She put in detergent. She practically washed and dried it for me. She really was so nice. She said you too skinny how come your momma don't feed you. I told her. She invited me to a grand Polish dinner. Oh was it good and I ate a lot. She was lonely. Her late husband was baker. We became friends I'd go to the store for her when walking was difficult in winter. Good things happen at laundromats. Almost 60 years ago. Different era when n old lady could invite clueless teen to her house and feel safe. RIP Mrs. Wendolowski.

New to your channel... great video! As others have said, you _are_ still a diabetic. Forevermore. My highest HbA1c was a 9.0 and is now a 5.3 (lowest has been 5.1), which is in the non-diabetic range, but I am still a diabetic who is considered in remission. If you went off the medication, it is highly likely your blood glucoses would rise quickly and your HbA1c would once again be in the diabetic range. It's important for diabetics, even with under-control BGs, to remember they are diabetics because we are still at risk from the damage already done when our numbers were higher. We need to watch our feet and our eyes. We need to keep yeast at bay in and on our bodies. We need to make sure our hearts and kidneys have not been damaged. Kidneys do not repair themselves like the liver, so what damage is there is there. The goal is to keep Chronic Kidney Disease from getting worse. Any time there is major stress like serious illness or hospitalizations, even on GLP-1s, our glucoses can climb and we need to be watched and/or treated. I hope this helps to reiterate why we still need to consider ourselves diabetics for life. You are doing amazing! Keep it up!

Not editing your videos is a stress reliever, trust me. I edit my sons videos and it can be a drag LOL. Great video nonetheless. A lot of great info. I just started my journey yesterday. I lost 80lbs on my own fasting in 5 months, but I still ended up in the hospital with Bells Palsy due to high blood sugar and high blood pressure. I was also diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in January. I 've been on Metformin for 3 months, and now, after 2.5 months of back and forth with my insurance + the short supply, I just got my first 4-pack of 2.5. This video motivates me, so thank you again. Looking forward to see what's next.

I love beachcombing! I love the shells you found. I like figuring out what kind they are and the animal that lives in them, and I love trying to figure out where the sea glass comes from ! I Usually find glass from beer bottles lol but sometimes there’s some cool old glass with history behind it ! I always bring a reusable bag for my finds❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ love ya mama Kelly!!!!
