NEW WR - PAL Luigi's Mansion No OOB in 1:03:21
A 2 cycle Weston Boo and perfect 5 piece Van Gore fight managed to bring back a run I didn't think could PB with much less world record without 1 cycling King Boo. With the flipped vacuum shooting the second bomb to 1 cycle King Boo is a lot more difficult as far as the timing which no one has been able to do remotely consistently as of yet.

Everything up to moonshot was nearly perfect with that split being 75 seconds ahead of the previous record. With how difficult the European version is getting it as optimized as the Japanese release will take a long time but definitely off to a good start.

No reloads from accidentally collecting money and pretty good execution overall. With how difficult it is to not touch a single pearl, bill, or gold bar even just completing a run is extremely difficult so I'm happy with this.

For all of the categories on the main leaderboards this one is definitely the hardest. Chauncey 1 cycle with the normal vacuum makes resetting to RNG all the more worse, you have portraits like Weston, Sue Pea, Luggs, Biff, and Petunia which will break off unless done almost perfectly (you have about 1 second of unoptimal damage to spare before each and every portrait ghost spawns a poison mush...

I had a couple weeks of free time to play around with and managed to get this on the 8th day of de-rusting. Hey man, first of all super cool run. I dont watch speed runs outside of Mario 64 but this was super cool to see. I just wanted to know what type of skip was going on right here 30:00. Once again awesome run and congrats on WR!
This is called sitting clip which is by far the hardest trick in the run. Using the analog and c stick you do 2 1 frame input releases on 2 separate frames to get a horizontal skew. I lost about 15 seconds to a 3rd try skew on this run, but the trick itself skips having to visit the sealed room to get the key to Sue Pea's room saving 50 seconds
What is low%?
It's completing the game inbounds without collecting any coins, bills, bars, pearls, or gems. The king boo crown is technically money so thatd be the one exception

Watching speedruns has become something of a new hobby for me lately, I have been finding them fascinating and learn new things about my favourite games.
