i was introduced to Narnia when i was twelve, my English teacher read the first 2 books to me and the whole class. i got them as audiobooks, because my dad is more of a listener, i was never able to find them as actual novels until this past Xmas. i have read them in chronological order soon after the experience of how it started disappeared from me. i listen the Radio Theater versions in Publication order. i know they are fantasy versions of the bible, i just fully didn't understand until 2016. i do see the allegories, like what you said, Aslan is Jesus Christ. The first King and Queen of Narnia are a parallel to Adam and Eve. i am a christian, i just wasn't baptized until 6 years ago. and yes, Non- Christian people do enjoy the books as well.

@@HPofNARNIA Interesting enough, I was introduced to Narnia in 2003. Then in 2004, I've heard about the series being made into a block-buster franchise. I actually remember anticipating to see Narnia on the big screen.

@@jasminelaury736 i remember seeing the Trailer of LWW from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy DVD and a week later i watched the behind the scenes of it from the Disney Chanel Movie Surfers and so i watched the trailer again and it just blew me away. i wasn't able to see it in the theaters so i had to for it come out on DVD and it was absolutely fantastic. The Scores are Absolutely Gorgeous. it's got amazing special effects, outstanding performances and spectacular Costumes. Prince Caspian, some people didn't like but, i thought, it was okay. & The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was Awful (The Reason being was because they got a new director and he was not a good choice). And i will, also say this: William Mosley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley will Always and Forever be the Pevensie in my head. No one Else will EVER Replace them from me! Even if i hear the voices of Freddie Finley, Katherine Suchet, Mathew White and Elizabeth Eaten from the Focus on the Family Radio Theater versions, I'll ALWAYS think of the Walden Pevensie Children. Same goes for everyone else in the first film (Except i like to mix Tilda Swinton's version with how her character was originally described in the book) and I've always named the Witch's Dwarf, Ginnabrick, since that's what the filmmakers named him because he was never referred by name in the book. And even though i didn't like the film adaptation of VDT, I'll always name Ramandu's Daughter, Lilliandil. since Douglas Gresham gave her that name.

@@HPofNARNIA Some have argued that they were going for a Lord of the Rings knock-off. There is some truth to that. I lean towards the first two than the third. And of course, the books are always going to be better. LWW is the most successful movie in the franchise. I've liked the acting and the visuals. Even the music was great. Though I could have done without the melting river scene. It was almost like a cheap thrill. Though I've liked what they did with Edmund's choice with consequences, because you can't really do a person thinking out loud in a movie. Edmund in the dungeon was a good visual way of showing how he realized that he made a wrong choice. I know there was various opinions about how successful PC was. I wasn't a huge fan of the Caspian and Susan romance. I thought it was a bit forced (but that's Hollywood for you there). I've liked how they put in depth into about the sadness that the old days are gone. Though I've wished they could have included the romp with Bacchus and Silenus and the freeing of the school children. For me, VDT was more of a hit-miss, mostly a miss. Maybe if it had been it's own story, like "The Seven Swords: A Narnia Story", I would have gotten by with that. The Green Mist was the last straw for me! I kind of understand why they wanted to add a villain, because that's what people expect to see. It's almost traditional. But it was not a good villain. It's almost a shame, because Narnia is known to have great villains, like the White Witch, Miraz, Lady of the Green Kirtle, Rabadash, Rishda. I'm like, "Okay, I understand what you're doing but why are you doing it?" I kind of wonder that if Andrew Adamson had stayed on as the director for VDT, would the product have turned out differently? Maybe it would have prevailed better. Though looking back, it didn't work out the way it was supposed to do and the franchise died afterwards. My thought is, "Well, that's that. I guess I won't see anymore Narnia movies until they reboot it because Hollywood has been known for rebooting." I'm still hopeful that I will see a reboot of Narnia on the big screen. I would like to see a different take on LWW and PC. I would like to see a new and improved version of VDT. Then of course, there's still hope to see SC, HHB, MN, and LB on the big screen.

@@jasminelaury736 i don't care what people say about the first film! its the #1 best adaptation of all time imo. it, even, filled in that plothole in MN. When Peter and Susan explained to the professor about Narnia in the Wardrobe, The professor sot of believed in Lucy's Story, but he acts like he's never been there, he has when he was her age. So in the film when Susan explained about it, that makes him Truly believe that She went to Narnia because it sounded familiar to him. the only thing that disappointed me about it was that they didn't add the scene where Edmund was being knighted by Aslan. You should get the Focus on the Family Radio Theater versions of the Narnia series and stick with them! They did all 7 of them without any problems. Whenever i listen to them, i take some of the images from the Walden movies and recreate and retell them differently in my head and that's how i fix the third movie.
