Trump debates Biden...Nigerians weigh in
Переглядів 15714 годин тому
It was billed as a debate that will rock global politics, and it did! The current President and the immediate past president stated their desire to either continue leading America or return to the White House. There's a Naija way to look at the debate, and that's what this episode is all about.

Glad to have the best episode of My Day My Story episode so far. How so? Because someone very important to me called and did a voice analysis of what was going on with that Iluyomade/RCCG imbroglio. Someone else commented on that same episode, and that got me thinking about why this episode has become the most-watched episode of My Day, My Story Podcast so far. If you haven’t watched the other ...
Iluyomade vs RCCG!

This is the fight that wasn't meant to be, but keep in mind that the saying: "The devil is in the details" is real and not to be easily discounted! I believe Pastor Idowu Iluyomade was just doing ministry in his own "jeje" way, being supported by an estimated 5000-strong congregation and his beautiful lawyer, activist, motivational speaker wifey, Siju Iluyomade turned 60. Celebratory plans were...

Sir, it was true that the table has been set but she could postpone it. What if it were to be her spouse would she go on to do it? Birthdays could be celebrated many months/ years after that. We should be humane. We are all human beings. Even if you have planned a party on your street and 3 people died within a week, you could make it low keyed or shelved.

Well you are right but I want to defer abit. The backlash didn't start until the general public and wigwe family reacted angrily to the birthday. 2. Mummy GO was at the party(not the flavor dance party) but one of the series of events that culminated to the final dance party. 3. It's sad really, the sudden demise of the wigwe, but the church should have been authoritative in insisting that they should observe the celebration low-key. Which they didn't.

@OluremiAbosede, I agree with you on that note. It's just thatsome things are easier said than done. I really don't know how I will feel (neither do you) God forbid...if a similar situation happens to either of us...

It’s no about church politics.let’s call a spade a spade .when someone has done wrong he/ she should be punished appropriately not minding his or her status.no wonder Nigeria is where it is today because we don’t believe in punishing wrong doing across board. There is an English proverb that says “men are not hanged for stealing horses but that horses might not be stolen “.if an organisation as big as as RCCG doesn’t have punitive measures in place then it would lead to anarchy.

If "punishing" people, especially in the religious space is what life is all about, think about what punishment you should get about how many times you have dragged Christ's name in the mud.

@@MCParExcellence every organisation needs checks and balances or everyone would do whatever they deem fit and things would spiral out of control and the organisation would cease to exist.simple

Church is business, until Nigerians understnds that. The pastors are in Interested in the members contributions . The pastor don't care about the members, only care about your pause.

@user-om9jm6tk9x, thankjs for your comment, but please SUBSCRIBE...you're correct in your opinion that "Churches are businesses" but if that is so, no Head of Staff should allow an excellent employee go into poverty and penury for one misstep! Have I asked you to subscribe yet?

He should have thought about that😁No Pastor is bigger than the General Overseer of the church no matter the status grace has given... No Branch is bigger than the parent branch... May God help us all 🙏
