      There is not really much to show you there there is 30 clicks on each coilover 0 is the softest 30 is the hardest, set to 15 clicks and try, if you want it harder or softer is up to you.

    Good video. I had the same issue on my 99. Wondering if this was also causing high and low idles. Hoping switching out the harness with a new one will solve the issue. Crossing my fingers it does.

      Only if you have broken or half broken wires, otherwise you’ll have different problem mayble idle air controller malfunction

      Are you sure everything is hooked up properly on that engine? Mine was still pulling strong with the broken connection

      I don’t remember, unfortunately it was a long time ago. But was intermittent and when I changed the sensor it fixed it

    Thank you for the video. I discovered the same issue on my car the other day. Do you happen to have the part number? I’ve looked around some sites and they clearly call out seals for the rear diff and for the CV Joints.

      Thank you, well if you are living in the rustbelt wd40 is your best friend and maybe try using some antiseize before you install everything back, that way it won’t seize and next time you can remove easier.

      Just open the hood and check the cable, if the cable is looking good try checking if theres power going thru with a volt meter

      If you didn’t got it with the Short ram intake kit , talk to dc sports to send one or take the old hose to an auto parts store and ask them give you the same size, I don’t know the actual size maybe its a 1/2inch

      Process must be the same, location could change, use a lot of penetrating fluid or a torch to remove them easily

      Well the basis Z is a basic setup so you need the front and rear strut mounts, I’ll suggest to get new ones and not reusing the old ones from the car.

      Thank you very much, yes I was reusing those but I would suggest getting new ones because these are old cars and eventually gonna start making noise and you have to replace it anyway.

      Actually I got a rod knock it wasn't the lifters, but in the early stage it sounds exactly as lifter tick

    Big help. My big snag was unplugging the electrical connector, what you do around 3:15. There is a slot you need to press down while you pull but had quite a difficult time figuring it out and getting my fat fingers to work it. I found another similar connector that helped me with the mechanism.

      If you buy the complete set without talking to Tein about your setup, it could be too soft on the rear wheels, if you have wide wheels on your car it could rub hard and you have to roll your fender, switch the springs to 12kg or get a set of less wider wheels, i got the 12kg springs now and rides very good, a bit bouncy because I kinda maxxed out the coilovers but still feels better than the stock

      Glad it helped, if you’re running to rubbing issues on the back because of aftermarket wheels make sure to replace the springs with this Tein springs SA120-01150

      You are very welcome glad it helped, one more thing, make sure to get the stiffer rear springs otherwise you gonna have some rubbing issues with aftermarket wheels at every pothole part number is SA120-01150.

    I would've put the mount on the tranny 1st, and get the bolt through the bushing last. I just bought all new mounts & I Am NOT looking forward to this LoL. I already installed the passenger mount. Next is the front mount. Then I'll tackle the dog bone & after watching you do the tranny, I'ma do it last 🤣

      Yes that transmission mount is a bitch to put in, much easier when you do a clutch job and replace this too ✌🏻

    Is that normal to make the gap of both rings 0.22 mm??? i have heard that the top ring need to be more clearence then the 2nd ring. Please could you enswer me. I really want to know

      It depends, if you filed too much and now its on the same spec the car is still gonna run but the compression is gonna be different, performance wise also gonna suffer because of the compression, Can you run it without messing up the engine? yes, should you run it if you want the best performance and best compression for your engine? No I wouldn't suggest it, you can buy a new set and file it again, its not too expensive

      @@chouchou3652 I can’t just answer yes or no on this question, you have to give me the full story, is this a stock rebuild with stock specs or are you doing forget internals? Are you planning to add more power to this engine? If you are just doing a normal engine rebuild with stock specs find the ring gap specification to your car and use that if you modify it you can see the specs on the piece of paper that is included with the rings

      @@speedprophets82 just normal building engine. Not asking more power. In toyota catalog it says 1st ring from 0.27-0.54 mm and the 2nd ring 0.25-0.52 mm.the bore 86 mm.stroke 85mm.

      @@chouchou3652 you should keep the stock spec because thats the best option for your engine and best performance, you can still use it maybe the engine is gonna use a tiny bit more oil but its not gonna hurt the engine.

      Yes that is true, mine spun but I’m sure because I mismatched the rodcaps.

      Of course you can, also make sure to use some heat shrink sleeves to have some better weatherproofing and try to use the same thickness and color if you want, not to switch them up.

    Can you make slow motion remove the lifterS .. what kind of tool do you use to take out the lifter without remove the cams

      Well first you have to loose the bolts thats holding the cams, all of them, once you are done with that I was using a rag and a flathead screwdriver(you can put a couple of layers of tape to make it softer) and the pop off the rockers off the lifter, thats when you have to put the rag on the top not to lose the rocker arms.
