    It's basically for myself now & I talk to others occasionally but they look at me like I'm from Mars. Everyone I've known that suffered & passed away too soon were on so many meds it makes me extremely angry & sad. The ones still alive would rather just take the meds & eat the SAD or whatever it is that I know is keeping them ill. Love, patience & kindness always wins in the end though. Well-wishes ❤

    I will never introduce anything back into my life I’m so addicted to carbs that will start a chain reaction and one thing will lead to another pretty soon I’ll be hiding in my closet strung out on ho ho’s. A alcoholic can’t reintroduce beer back into there life and drink in moderation no way. If the carnivore diet is working why stray from it just stay the course. Because your not on carnivore with fruit or stinky stinky rice.

    • @andreabarrickwellness

      Hi! I completely understand. I’ve been able to heal not only my gut but my binder eating and have been able to incorporate food back in. I understand that can be hard for others to hear. But I will always believe carnivore is the best diet to heal no matter how long you choose to stay on. I was finding that with my POTS it was better when I added some carbohydrates back into my diet so I didn’t have to drink so many electrolytes. I hope this is helpful to understand why I have transitioned.

    • @shortbare4353
      @shortbare4353 8 місяців тому

      Well I cannot and will not introduce anything back into my life because I will fall hard. I'm staying the course because if I do I will fall hard pretty soon I'll be strung out on Krispy cream. I'm that addicted to carbs. It took all this work to get to this point and I will not go back not for nothing.

    Good pointers. Progress with your mind and body. Whats low intensity to one, is high intensity to another. Pace yourself, and you'll see how fast you progress. Consistency is crucial. Our bodies adapt. Balance is key. Warm shower, and then cool, dark and quiet room + elevate legs will help for sleep as well.

    • @andreabarrickwellness
      @andreabarrickwellness 11 місяців тому

      I do that every night! Hot shower, cool off and put my legs on the wall! I sleep like a baby

    • @Flampo
      @Flampo 11 місяців тому

      Nice, but avoid HOT or VERY HOT, because that could hurt your skin if its too hot. The lower you can go while raising your temp during shower and then lowering after would be better. Some are more tolerable to higher temps, but as a general guide, warm or warm towards hot is suitable for most. But hot can be bad for some and very hot is bad for most. Hopefully, I did not confuse you, lol.@@andreabarrickwellness

    Correct all aspects of health and you'll see the change and enjoy the benefits. This is literally how I thought about the cure to different problems that stem from the gut. Carnivore can be good for most but there is no 1 ingredient, or 1 meal, or 1 diet that will fix everyone but everyone should start with adding or removing certain things. Healthy Meals consist of natural whole foods that are supportive, tolerable, preferred, responsibly sourced, properly prepared, balanced and combined. One of the big problems with most whole foods is that they are not responsibly sourced or properly prepared. For example, with veg and grains, there are different processes that needs to be done to make the foods healthier. After that process, that food becomes great for us. Some food, there's less to do and some there's more to do. Some foods also give us the same type of benefits when supportive, tolerable, preferred, responsibly sourced, properly prepared, balanced and combined.

    • @andreabarrickwellness
      @andreabarrickwellness 11 місяців тому

      Thank you so much for you insight. I agree! We’ve lost traditional food practices that minimize the anti nutrients in plant foods. Like souring, fermenting, ect. I think carnivore is therapeutic but other food can be beneficial if you properly prepare them.

      I'm happy I don't like fruit that much. If you're trying to heal something I think its important to remember that you don't have to do this forever. You can even add things back in after you heal. Or you can stay carnivore forever! it's best to do what you benefits YOU!

    • @CincyPhotography
      @CincyPhotography Рік тому

      @controlledhealth are you that uneducated you are comparing processed meat in grocery to meat from the wild? Do you really think it's fair to compare history when people had nothing to eat in winter so all they had to survive was a little meat? Are you really trying to compare optimum health to just basic survival , do you even realize many died in their 40s too? You really need to educate yourself! Do some good and actually look up facts instead by searching "Dr milton carnivore" so you actually see science backed facts!

    • @andreabarrickwellness
      @andreabarrickwellness Рік тому

      @CincyPhotography First I'm going to asking for you to please be kind. I'm very educated. Most of my research has been done through my education of NTP, and practice. I don't advocate for conventional meat. Nor do i advocate for long term carnivore. I think it is a great tool for healing. Second of all, meat is the most nutrient dense form of food on the planet. Its bioavailability of nutrients far outweighs those of plants. Plants contain anti-nutrients like phytic acids, oxalates and lectins to name a few. This can trouble someone with autoimmune and can even create issues for healthy people if over consumed. In my opinion, deep research, education and own health journey I have found that consuming meat is the best thing one can do for our health. Plants are just an add on or beneficial for medicinal uses. You cannot doubt the fact that I was bedridden for over a year and started carnivore and was able to walk with in 1 week. There are many stories like this like Rebekah Heishman to name one. You can look her up and see her amazing story of healing with carnivore. Here are some good resources to check out: Carnivore Cure by Judy Cho, NTP. Toxic Super Foods by Sally K Norton. Any work done by Dr. Paul Saladino, Dr. Anthony Chaffee, and Dr. Ken Berry.
