I already have a skull. Its clean of "meat" (its 20 years old, and if it was gonna stink it wouldve already done that) but because its old it has some "mold" i think and it has some dust. But i kind of like the colour of it. so i was thinking of just cleaning it with some water and some bleach. but i wanted to keep that yellowish colour. what can i do, and is the whitening proces realy nessessary. (sorry for my bad english, but its not my first lenguage)

So beautiful! I also Decoupage skulls (and just about everything else) so it's really interesting to see how other people do it. I do have a question..Do you ever have trouble with the ink in the napkins bleeding when you varnish? I find its mostly with the cheaper napkins or anything with a chinoiserie pattern. Ive tried everything, even freezing them, but nothing has worked so far. If you have any ideas id really appreciate it.

Curious if the ink bleeds and that's why you dremelled? Could you have sealed the skull then skipped the dremel? Great job. Looking to do this with my skull but I'm nervous.

I have a cow skull this process was already done to it. It's just dirty/dusty can I wash it with dish soap?
